Is she a strong independent woman or a timid person who 'does as shes told' even when it goes against her strongest instinct? Ambition is pointless if you haven't got the knowledge and skills required and, if you're not willing to listen and learn! A fire from a heater in the nursery? A HEATER in South Africa? Really,? Is she any different from working woman all over the world who carry on going to work regardless. Why does she feel she is so different?

What really makes me angry is that she calls the Governor's Residence, where they stayed, which is virtually a palace, a housing unit, as though it was some shack in a housing estate, how arrogant and ungrateful, and what an over inflated opinion of her self worth

Seems like she did it on purpose, being a very vindictive woman that she is. There was some info leaked about her royal tour, she threw a tantrum as she wanted the whole house/palace for herself during her stay over there, not just the half of it. Didn't she also throw a hot cup if tea at the maid over there. By insulting the Governor's palace, she must've felt better, vengeful woman....

No one can deny that Markle was ambitious and normally ambition is a good thing. Except Markle is deliberately calling what she did 'ambition'. She was a social climber doing pretty much anything to get to the top, and being fairly ruthless about it. That's more than simple ambition. She used the job of public service as a working royal to elevate her status. She uses people and causes for self-promotion. She literally stepped over Serena by trumping her story with her own to play victim to the royal family. How many women go to work day-in-and-day out with much more on their plate than a near miss tragedy. Too many are actually working without support through real tragedy.

Maggie T calmly carried on with a conference after a hotel bomb blast, HM calmly carried on after shots were fired at her horse, the Princess Royal remained cool during a kidnap attempt, Florence Nightingale looked after the most severely wounded during war, even Diana Princess of Wales walked through a minefield with composure. That incident in Africa made me remember the time my family and I were dumped out from our home by the bank, it was a tough time moneywise and my dad was not able to pay the mortgage, and I remember I was at work and I received a call from my mum telling I have to pick up my things, my life basically, because we have to empty the house, I told my boss I had a family matter to attend and that I would be back as soon as possible, and so I did, when I got to what was my house, I picked up my things, helped my mum to do the same with hers, and went back to work, and I had to finish my shift and pretend that nothing happened.

I was listening to a journalist who was in South Africa reporting on the tour and he said that no one mentioned a fire and he seriously believes she’s lying 🤥 again

The "housing unit" was actually the British High Commissioner's residence...a huge mansion. She calls it housing unit then later refers to it as the residence. It seems odd to me that a fire would break out in such a place where they must have had extensive security checks before the arrival of the Sussexes. But even if that incident happened, her baby was safe with the nanny so why couldn't she go? And if she really wanted to stay behind Harry could have gone alone...so much hype and drama for a non issue!!

I have looked at all sides, remained on the fence as much as possible, and been fair -- or as fair as I could be, given the wide range of stories with unnamed sources. In any case, I quite agree with the presenters here who are tired of Meghan's victimhood. She wants us to feel bad for her. Why? She feels sorry for herself. Why? I don't listen to podcasts, but why did she apparently make this about HERSELF? I thought her guest would be there to be interviewed BY Meghan versus give Meghan a chance to repeat "poor me" stories about herself. Most ofd us have been LIVING a proud, successful, independent, hardworking life for decades and do not need her lectures on the subject or her "poor me" attitude about having to go out and do another royal engagement. Yes, I'd HATE doing that, but I did not CHOOSE it. She did.

She doesn’t need anyone to make her like a fool, she is very good on doing it on her own. Success attained by being ambitious including marrying a Royal Prince is fine but ambitions to attain fame by making up fabricated stories , attacking and making false accusations on RF, playing as a victim while she’s living on a lavish lifestyle are opportunistic. It’s amazing how this woman can go low but destructive for $$$$$. It’s her truth of lies and becoming her habit without shame or embarrassment.

Everytime Serena said something she was either interrupted by Meghan OR Meghan tried to TOP Serema's story.

In addition, in her introduction she drags out that tired old story about the dish soap commercial, which was proven a lie via Tom Bower. However, the feminist no longer says she was raised by her father who did the dishes, Thomas Markle is removed from her little story. And, ironically Thomas was the one who lied to her about the letters back to her as well as crediting her for changing the commercial, which Proctor and Gamble has said her little letter had nothing to do with it. Rather, societal changes, which the company monitors, changed the narrative.

The "fire" was some smoke coming from a heater, that she had actually brought with her. So, basically if it was anyone's fault, it was hers. And, considering that the mansion had burned down about ten years back and was rebuilt, I'm pretty sure that it is supplied with smoke detectors.

This podcast will be a great cure for those suffering from insomnia.

Serena Williams - her guest! - worked herself silly all her life to become one of the best tennis players in the world. Tells a story about her little daughter being injured. So Meghan just has to tell a story about her son, the world's most precious infant, nearly being burned alive, and then she is forced to go to work. How many guests do we think she will have on future podcasts?

What I thought most interesting is that Serena did not gush all over her about having to go to an engagement afterwards, instead she said, "how could you not take him with you." Serena has a tremendous work ethic. I remember once when she was doing poorly on the court the media tried to blame back-to-back tennis matches, one each day without a full day off between, and Serena said, if I cant do back to back matches, I should not be playing tennis." What a difference between the two.

That unit where the fire was supposed to have been was at the British Highcommissioners home. It's an amazing building, and there would be NO loose heaters laying around. The child wasn't even in the room. They brought their own UK trained Nanny with them to South Africa including their own cars flown in. This is all BS.

Spotify have made themselves look complete idiots allowing this podcast to go out. Sick of hearing about the proctor and gamble ad. Etc etc.

Ambition and social climbing are two entirely different scenarios. And we know Meghan was not ambitious, she hustles her way to what she wants. The fire at the British Ambassador's residence (which Meghan calls the housing unit) was in 1999 when the thatched roof caught fire, but the tour of H&M was in 2019... so it must have burned longer than the Fire of London...!!!

Narcissists LOVE to play the victim. They also love to rewrite history. And they will believe their version of events, even if you can prove them wrong. 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️
