Julia Hartley-Brewer savages Meghan Markle: 'You're just a two-bit actress married to the spare!"
The Duchess of Sussex has said it takes “a lot of effort” to forgive and hinted that she can “say anything” as she sat down for a wide-ranging interview in the US.
Meghan, 41, spoke about her estranged father Thomas Markle and reflected on the relationship between the Duke of Sussex and the Prince of Wales during an interview with The Cut magazine at her California home.
In the interview, running to more than 6,000 words, Meghan said that “just by existing” she and Harry were “upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy” before they stepped down as senior working royals.
Harry’s relationship with his father is said to have been tense since the couple left the UK.
He said during their televised interview with Oprah Winfrey last year that Charles had stopped taking his calls.
Meghan told The Cut: “Harry said to me, ‘I lost my dad in this process’.
“It doesn’t have to be the same for them as it was for me, but that’s his decision.”
A spokeswoman for the duchess later made clear that Meghan was referring to losing her own father and that she hopes this does not happen to Harry and his father.
A source close to Charles said he would be saddened if Harry felt their relationship was lost, adding: “The Prince of Wales loves both his sons.”
Journalist Allison P. Davis asked Meghan if there was room for forgiveness between her, the royal family and her own family.
Meghan said: “I think forgiveness is really important. It takes a lot more energy to not forgive.

I knew how poisonous she'd be from the moment she made her appearance at the Invictus games in Toronto 2017. I had hoped back then that they wouldn't get married as I knew if they did, it would be a disaster for the monarchy. She just unleashed her crap a lot sooner than I thought. I haven't read the article and don't intend to but if it's again referring to the 'racist remark' by the family membe, then this lie is getting bigger and bigger. The story is, Harry was at an event during the time of their engagement, a family member warned Harry that they didn't think MM would fit in. So, Harry went back and told MM this. She twisted it around as being a racist remark and nothing to do with her uncouth behaviour. Then, later she twisted the remark to be made after they were married and about Archie. Now, it's suddenly involving the n word. When will it stop?

IMO She wanted to accomplish three things with this article. 1) set the record straight per the 'revenge' book, she can't sue because it's all true, so she wanted to try to refute and elevate herself in another way. 2) Garner publicity during the week of the anniversary of Diana's death (somehow linking their stories ...) 3) pure publicity for herself and podcast.

Catherine hasn't used her children to set up a website didn't name their child a deeply personal name she is hands on but she is also incredibly busy. While thing across the pond is never home with HER KIDS (probably because they're not hers) They are always flying off somewhere so who has them if it's her mother I wouldn't leave a dead rat with her.

@ Lucia Fidalgo - If you read the article by Maureen Callaghan in todays New York Post you’ll see that the usual readers of The Cut are not impressed by the article at all. Not sure the journalist was as sympathetic to MM as she thinks as there’s quite a lot of shade being thrown at her by the journalist if you read how the journalist has worded certain statements.
It's a fixed hierarchy. She married the spare. No chance of upward promotion in that job. Self promotion is a pointless exercise. Respect earned from others is what counts in this life.

There has to be a reason. When Diana spoke to the Queen about Charles & Camilla, the Queen insisted they keep trying to make it work as separating could never happen while the Queen Mum was alive. I think this may be Charles insisting things remain the same while the Queen is still with us. I really don't think he wants his Mum to have this debacle as the last big event before she dies. They are probably hiding the reality from her. She has stated that she should have handled Charles & Di differently. They are just people like us who make mistakes.

@@SharonCee521 I don't think titles will be removed while the Queen is alive. The senior Royals seem to be circling around her trying to protect her without stirring up the dust. The Queen is very frail these days; I note how much weight she has lost in the past year. I think one of the main reasons William and family are moving minutes away from her is to circumvent visits from Harry and Andrew. Only Charles or William have the authority stop them in their tracks, staff wouldn't be able to confront them.
Absolutely none at all I don’t think she is fit to be a duchess I wish it could be taken away from her she deserves no respect at all and she is not to be trusted !
