Worse for me, my great-great aunts (passed away at age 96) last name was Phillips, so we'd be talking to a lady in her late 90s if he went to get the neighbors.. And, well, she worked for Lockheed during WW2 as a welder, so she would have known what a "phillips" was and could have grabbed it from the tool box...

I'm from the south and moved to the PNW. As a man and a transplant living here, it can be very difficult at times for me to make friends with other men because a lot of them can be passive, unauthentic (which makes me distrust them) and have the belief that many things are impossible. These are traits healthy males do not have.

@@williamlethco7208 I feel for you. I am from the South, and my family and I vacationed in Illinois (the farthest we’ve been up north) a few years back and couldn’t believe how unfriendly they were there. I’m sure there are some friendly people there, but no one we ran into. When we said hello to a a couple of people, they looked at us like we had two heads. When we went into convenient stores and pretty much everywhere else, hardly anyone smiled.

If sweet tea isn't a normal drink, that's a place that also prob is scared to use bacon grease. They think eggs are naturally white with a red stamp on them. People need to remember the ways or natural living! God gives us all we need to provide for ourselves and he helps those who help themselves. Money is pointless when you are living where no one knows the how to. Can't pay someone to do something if they ain't learnt

As a woman who was born in So Cal, but was raised in Texas and later moved back to Cally… I have my own, older SnapOn roll away, a second road case roll away, a drill press, a good 2 ton floor jack a set of metal car ramps, and several smaller-ish tool boxes and assorted power tools… My dad taught me how to drive his pickup with 3 on a tree and my brother taught me how to drive his stick shift mustang and before I could learn how to drive any of that I had to be able to change a tire and check the spark plugs along with check the oil at the very least… then I got to get behind the wheel. At 32 I got my commercial truckers license and then drove 48 states and Canada for over 20 yrs. But I am always forever grateful for a gentleman to get the door for me or offer to help. Because a good man will do just that!

I've seen two women drive away from the pump with the nozzle still in the opening. Ripped the nozzle and hose right off the pump. One at least stopped, the other just drove away. When I was done, I talked to the guy inside and asked him what was going to happen to the women. He said for the woman who stayed-nothing, for the woman who drove away he called the cops for what is basically a hit and run and she would be sued for damages.

It depends on generation I think. A friend of mine was sitting at a park with thier kids, who were goofing on the playground. They ended up laughing hysterically as they watched some young homies (saggy pants and all between 17-25-ish) with a flat tire, repeatedly opened the hood, never found anything wrong revving the engine, and try to leave the parking lot of the food joint on the corner, again. Sad that two middle aged women with elementary school aged kids had to cross the street and change the tire for them. They didn't even know where the spare was. Our dads taught us this stuff, thier dads obviously did not.

As a 53 yo, retired bricklayer from Alabama, redneck and never turned down a challenge in my life, I literally drink even Williams whiskey by the gallon, I will stand on my oath that MOST, not all, MOST women especially Southern women are three times stronger than men! When’s the last time you shot a basketball out of your penis and went back to work in four weeks? Don’t be stupid.

While allergies are real, and serious, and life threatening, I think his point was that as kids there didn’t seem to be too many people with them. It was asthma, and peanuts. Now it’s pretty much everything you can think of. Either people are weaker, or technology is better to detect such things.

Eliminating sugars and highly processed carbs completely will cure most allergies and asthma and diabetes. Try finding a Doctor of Nutrition. You'll be suprized by how much your MD. Doesn't know about what you should and should not eat.

To all the first responders, construction workers, surgeons, teachers, sales clerks who have to put up with some lousy customers, hotel front desk employees who get yelled at by a guest, bus drivers, city workers. I know you’re kidding, right? So go ahead y'all and hate me. Pittsburgh born and raised move to the song 33 years. First Southern husband was the most prejudiced and ignorant human being I could ever imagine the second Southern husband didn't work and expected me to take care of him. I had to come home to find a man who could change the oil, fix the squeaking door and most important to me... Tell the truth. No passive aggressive or dumb as a fox (that's actually a saying down there) I belong to a dinner group when I was in Georgia. 15 or 20 women and 4 men. The woman across for me didn't realize she was sitting beside a man who came from Cleveland or across from a woman who came from Pittsburgh. And she and her son and drawn said I dated a Yankee man once he was just rude...1 person defines us all? So I left and Athens where in the last 4 weeks three dead bodies have shown up and I came home to estill town and a whole bunch of people don't have the jobs they used to have. The crime rate here is half what it was in Athens
