    You must be from the new generation, I grew up in the 90s watching The Rock, Austin & Undertaker. Those 3 are the goats & Hogan. John Cena is not a goat, when he was your superhero the ratings were down & that’s when wrestling fans started moaning about wrestling.

    @@topvillainy5867 Cena didn’t run it into the ground. It was Vince who was putting all of his eggs in Cena’s basket the same way he’s doing with Roman. Only difference at least Cena did have more of a supporting cast than Roman. Meaning Cena had people who felt just as important around him and he wasn’t the only one who u would look at as the star. Unlike Roman who when u see his opponents u know Romans going over.

    I already am, I liked Cena growing up but never fully appreciated him. As an adult now, I miss the hell outta him and always mark out when he makes a special appearance.

    When I was in Iraq in 2009, Cena and the WWE came over on a USO tour. Cena was in the gym with the soldiers working out meeting everyone. Dudes always been a class act. He’s done over a thousand make a wish events too. Never cared for him as a wrestler. Always thought he was a decent guy.

    Hear hear! I don't think Cena will return for any "runs", but he'll make the occasional appearance to help put others over. I've never been a fan of Cena as a wrestler (I was a boo'er and "Cena Sucks" person), and he's not a good actor in my opinion, but as a person, there are few better than him! Complete stand-up guy with heaps of integrity and genuine care for others!

    People get annoyed that Cena got the mega push for nearly 20 years, but he deserves it. Nobody else could carry the company, sell the merch he does, get a crowd reaction like he does, and do as much charity as he does. And the longevity too. Isn't that only time he got really hurt that time before he made the surprise royal rumble comeback?

    I remember when Austin left, rock went Hollywood, and taker got hurt. Cena literally carried the company on his back, and continued doing it for years. Lost wives, friends, and family all for Vince. I hope he never forgets that, and any time Cena needs anything, Vince or Shane/Steph are right there for him. Most humble guy in the business

    Regardless of how people feel about Cena in character, the man himself is one of the best things to happen to the WWE. He is one of the handful if not possible the only guy who didn't pull the ladder up from behind him, but instead stretched a hand out to those next in line. In wrestling these guys play version of themselves turned up to 11. I really believe this is true of Cena. Love him or hate him.

    Met Cena when I was working on the changeover crew at the key bank center in Buffalo (for wwe we would set up the chairs then wait for the show to end to take them down). He showed us more respect than any other person in the building, including coworkers from other departments. As I walked out of the back of the arena to go to my training session, there was an absolute wall of people I had no hope getting through. Seeing this after already signing autographs for seemingly forever, he turned around and walked back towards the crowd who all came over to him, clearing me a space to leave. Dude just loves being nice

    I always hated Cena's character in WWE but that is a real honest, stand up, good man in the real world. He's always doing good for people and handles himself so well. He's also won me over as Peacemaker. I would definitely say I am a Cena fan (other than in the ring)

    Cena won the humanitarian award for a reason... He is a genuine person that does things intentionally for entertainment purposes for us the fans. Wether it be any of his gimmicks, movies, matches, or promos, being arguably one of the greatest wwe superstars and pretty much a pop culture figure. And???? Also being the only celebrity in the world to grant more wishes than anyone in "Make a Wish" history (650). Love him or hate him, he is a true example of what a human being should be!

    I've been watching wrestling all my life and even though today's wrestling is not as good as the attitude era.. John Cena was never my favorite but he was the guy that I had the most respect for due to the fact incidents like this but do you know that John Cena did over 300 make a wish appearances meaning that kids that had a fatal ill requested the last wish was to meet John Cena and he always came through.. I think he even holds the record for most requests in the Make-A-Wish foundation which is a beautiful foundation and such a really good cause.. and John Cena stuffed up every moment.. I don't particularly hate John Cena but I respect them as a human being and he has all my respects and what he does for the kids even though a lot of guys hate him you can't help but respect it... thank you John Cena for everything you have done for your fellow human beings

    Met Cena a few years ago in Wichita Falls, TX after a match. Was working nights at hotel they were staying and came in was completely a gentlema, signed me and my brother a few things. Such a great guy

    It sounds like, from shoots and stories, Cena would bury people back in his earlier main event days, not out of maliciousness, I think he just wanted to make sure to get himself over. As he got older, he got more secure with himself and tried to make up for it by helping others. So all around, a good dude. All the younger up and comers now just talk about how great Cena is and how he's always willing to do business.

    I witnessed Cena in ovw, he was so eager to learn and was humble when he came back. Even those six flags shows. He came through once as still his rapper gimmick, but was still cool.

    I think we knew cena was always a good guy in the back to the other stars and a leader. Of course he’s the top guy in his time and knew that so always showed respect to the others.     Tyrus is awesome he actually graduated here in Nebraska from University of Nebraska Kearney! I have a UNK Magazine with him on the cover with the NWA title! He had a huge ceremony in Kearney Nebraska a month or 2 ago celebrating his achievements 😁

    Honestly the crowd just plays up to the camera. I’ve seen Cena live, un-televised and he gets the loudest pops of the night. There were fans chanting “Let’s go Cena!/Del Rio Sucks!” at a live event in the UK and you could see Cena was loving it. Chanting “John Cena Sucks!” in tune with his theme song became just as big a phenomenon as chanting “You Suck!” at Kurt Angle.
