Tyrus comes across as a very down to earth person, that you could chill with and have a great time. This next statement isn’t thinking specifically about him, it’s just weird to me when someone is bíracial that they feel the need to identify as only one and not the other. It’s like a middle finger to the mom and her ancestors (or dad in some cases) and embracing just dad and his ancestors. I know people are going to disagree and say it isn’t like that but what is it then when you are so embarrassed or put off by one parent’s ràce that you disown it entirely?

I am a 60 year old white lady, and I have liked Tyrus since he's been on Gutfeld (I'm not really big on wrestling!). The comradery of Tyrus, Greg and Kat along with 2 guests is so evident. And I absolutely love when someone makes Tyrus laugh (Dagen made him laugh so hard he was falling out of his chair). I like hearing his point of view. I think he is a great role model for younger people today. Go Tyrus!!!!! 👍🏼😎

It wasn't Dagan it was the dark haired girl off the Faulkner Focus. I cant remember her name right now, she was talking so fast and nonstop. It was hilarious.

Guy handles himself extremely well. First time I ever saw him was on Gutfield and he has become a key part of their success. Really cool guy.

Finally, a well spoken celebrity, who, when he gets to the end of a statement, you actually understand what he said. You're the best Tyrus. Keep telling it like it is.

I know and love Tyrus from "Gutfeld." He is so smart and observant, and he provides great insights, in addition to much humor. He's definitely someone you'd want to have for dinner or have a beer with. All real, no BS.

Never heard of this guy but absolutely KNOW that this country needs more of him. Intelligent, honest, thoughtful, and genuine.

Guys(and gals) like him are everywhere and on both sides of the aisle. The problem is they don't speak up or don't have the platform. Common sense has not left the general population, it only appears to have left because of social media. The majority of the keyboard warriors out there would never say the stuff they do to someone's face. That's why we got along better before social media because all conversations were held face to face and were able to be worked out.

Greg Gutfeld's Tyrus intros are pure gold. And he reacts to them like a good sport, which reflects well on him.

I never saw Tyrus wrestle, but I've been a fan since the first time I saw him on Fox. He's honest, he's smart, and best of all, he is real.

What a great interview (if you want to call it that). Tyrus clearly spoke from his heart, with no wiseass plays. Just a real conversation. Kudos to the host, that just allowed Tyrus to openly speak. Well done guys!!

The thing about Tyrus is that he is way more intelligent than his profession and size stereotype would lead you to believe. He's not only intelligent, he's insightful, witty, funny and most of all, genuine. Sane people can spot a phony a mile away!

It's surprising but a lot of wrestlers are like that. I was shocked the first time I heard Sting speak in an interview. Even knowing it's a show, without really being exposed to their real side all you tend to have are the stereotypes of their personas.

Tyrus is the most refreshing voice on the tube. Great to see him more and more.

I didn't know who Tyrus was until I saw him with Greg Gutfeld. I decided to give him a try because Greg is a great judge of character and voila! I fell head over heels for Tyrus. He is honest and forthright and right on target--basically, a true American Patriot!!!

Tyrus - my wife Lynn and I really think you are the best guest on Gutfeld, and we've been cheering you on as you've landed other gigs on Fox as well. FYI, we're both white - I'm 70 and Lynn is 67, so we're not particularly in your "core demographic," but we really like and respect what you bring to the show. We have ordered your book from Amazon (when my social security check came through), and look forward to sharing it. You do, indeed, have a voice that needs to be heard, and we're glad we have been listening.

Love Tyrus, he is able to express what a loy of us are thinking in a thoughtful and sometime painfully blunt way! He don't play games and you know where he stands. And I love that about him!!

More of us need to be this authentic. Always enjoy hearing what he has to say.

Tyrus is a clear and articulate speaker, but above all else, he seems honest. He speaks in a common-sensical, moderate manner. I hope he sticks around for a long time.

Tyrus took the chance to be on Fox and he is becoming a star. Good for you Sir. His presence on Gutfeld is one of the reasons I watch it.

How could anyone not like this guy. My first exposure to him was on Gutfeld. He has become a very busy man so when he is not on Gutfeld there is a big hole in that panel. Honest, funny and, concise. I am a huge fan.

I never heard of him before Gutfeld but LOVE HIM! He’s so smart, sensible and uses the English language better than an English scholar. I love the chemistry between him, Greg and kat as well as any guest that comes on. I feel when I’m watching I’m sitting with friends.

@@gabiehazie Well there's an assumption that mixed race people have to identify as Black. They can't just be there own thing. Some Blacks get mad that Mixed people say they're not just Black and some Whites pretend that mixed people are just Black even when seeing a White parent. It's like "I'm half of what you are" ya know. It stims from a racist rule in the US called the one drop rule which a lot of people still subscribe to. Tyrus being in his 50s probably still subscribes to this thought despite obviously being a bi racial man. He can call himself Black and get no backlash but if he called himself White, there would be tons of backlash. Even calling himself both would bring backlash. Sorry for the long explanation. Hope I made sense lol.

I had so much respect for Tyrus when he choose to take that leap of faith and be on Fox. Good for him! He's really held his own and made a name for himself outside of wrestling.

I'm gonna disagree with Tyrus. The stigma isn't "getting political" it's being conservative. The vast majority in Hollywood are openly and loudly progressive or liberal. Politics only is a problem in Hollywood if you aren't left wing.

Tyrus, I love you on the show and I really think you bridge the gap between people by showing that people of vastly different backgrounds can actually come to the same understanding about the world.

Tyrus is on point and give straight up answers. The man is honest and I enjoy listening to him speak.

Tyrus give me hope. His great work ethic, strength of character, willingness to speak his mind give me hope for the next generation. Well done Sir.

Well worth watching and listening to. Tyrus doesn't fall in a box. He's his own man. That takes courage and conviction, which he has in full measure.

My favorite of Tyrus so far, was last week when Emily Compano was telling her story about being on the airplane, talking faster than anyone I've ever heard - Tyrus' eyes were as big as saucers - he couldn't believe it - and then he fell out of the chair!! I rewound that part so many times!! I absolutely LOVE IT when Tyrus is on!!

I love watching Tyrus on the Greg Gutfeld show. Those 2 guys together with Kat are great.

Tyrus is the main reason I started tuning in to Gutfeld. I’ve watched wrestling, years ago, and didn’t realize who he was til I looked him up. Even my husband (who is a huge, lifelong wrestling fan) likes watching him… and he gives us a new angle to conversations about things going on in the news because I’m way more political than he is, and it’s fun to talk and laugh about things.

Love Tyrus on Gutfeld. He always digs deep and provides insight and common sense. The banter between he and Gutfeld is a joy to watch.

I've noticed that he's gotten more relaxed and comfortable interacting with Gutfeld and the others, and joining in the banter. I'm glad to see it.

He was a closet conservative lol.. all jokes aside, he did a fantastic job of not only getting a seemingly ridiculous gimmick over in wrestling he found his true calling as a speaker and role model

Great interview. Tyrus is the exact type of person, straight up truth sayer, that every network should strive to have onboard, but we all know what most are looking for these days, just like T said, BLIND OBEDIANCE OR LOYALTY... Blind obediance/Loyalty as well as this new Projectionism blame game, are the biggest factors in keeping the non-self informing (probly way over 50% pf Americans sadly) having inaccurate views of actual reality! Thanks Tyrus and Chris for the show. I hope it gets shared out there. We need others like Tyrus to help break the false stereotypes placed on all of us, all colors, all cultures. I wish all Americans were more like Tyrus. We need more "I have a preconceived notion, but I'll listen anyway". We need more intelligence in the way we approach discourse between opinions. If I was told I would appreciate a wrestler who so calmly laid out his views of our society, I wouldn't have believed it

I have lots of respect for Tyrus--and I enjoyed his book too. What he described was quite far away from my experience, but I came away from it with a lot more understanding of how human we all are even when we come from radically different ways of life.

Never listened to Greg’s show on fox until I watched and listened to tyrus he got me hooked very intelligent and open minded man

Some of you in the comments are proving his point, who cares where he leans and if he is on FOX. He just says his opinion and if you agree or not is fine, he making his bag like everyone else being himself so just respect it and move on. You dont have to watch him if you dont want too.

My wife and adult daughter, who lives with us, both get weary of my watching of regular news. However, they love Tyrus and Kat and even Greg sometimes.

I am one of those little old women who love watching you Tyrus. You bring a different flavor to the Guttfeld show that makes me reconsider some of my positions. Your perspective is enlightening and I appreciate the things that you say. While I do not always agree with you, I see your reasoning and it is clear that you are a thinking person. Great interview!
