Fortunately people who play sports aren't really into politics like the average bear, but when they do get into politics they mostly have common sense! Notice what he says @1:09 I know a lot of football players who never had a Dad in their life and did great. They looked at their team as that missing figure in their life. Dad's are important, mothers too.... but just imagine how many elite athletes (that could be) that are in Chicago just shooting and killing each other! Sad!! Progressivism/Liberalism are a cancer!!

When he said that, it felt like a knife in my chest. No child should have to feel that way. All should be proud of who they are. He is definitely a role model others can follow. All the cards stacked against him and he over come every obstacle places in front him.

He’s the main reason I watch The Five. His intelligence and empathy and humor make that show. I truly admire him. ❤

I have a son-in-law from Texas, bi-racial, and everything tyrus said about his early years fits my son-in-law to a tee. And like tyrus, my son-in-law turned out to be a very good man. God Bless those who go through the worst life has to give and come out still able to love and care. I wouldn't trade my son-in-law for all the gold in the world.

I don't watch wrestling so I hadn't seen him until he was on with Greg Gutfeld. He's an incredible person who has made the most of his life with grace and humility. There aren't many people in show business of any variety (I don't watch wrestling but I see no reason it should be treated as fundamentally different from acting or for that matter, the music industry; they're all just playing parts and following scripts) with his integrity, intelligence and humor.

I stumbled upon the Greg Gutfeld show. Didn't know who Tyrus was, my first impression of him was how articulate and intelligent he is. He's also super funny. Glad he's found success, he deserves it.

What a fabulous testimony. His presence on The Five helps make the show #1. What a great human being.

Tyrus is a fake. He just got away with an assault charge paying off Hammond, Louisiana sheriff's after firing me for standing up to his crooked ass. If you don't believe me, check the reviews of the sheriff's office located in Tangipahoa parish

Just seems like a very humble man, a good man.

Tyrus is an amazing guy. When ever we know hes on our t.v. set, its tuned to him. Hes funny, smart, full of common sense, and a loving human being. He gives us old people hope for the future. Wished we'd fond him on youtube.❤

How can you not love this guy....

Tyrus reminds me of my father. A strong capable man of immense common sense and a good sense of humor who at the same time took shit from no-one. Like Tyrus he had an unbelievably rough childhood and didn't let it make him into a victim. They have both taken lifes travails and used their experiences to turn them into men who are respected for their wit and honesty. Ask them their opinion and you will get it, even if it wasn't what you were expecting.

I had no idea of his childhood. I felt a smidgen of his pain when talking about his mother, and wanting to change his skin color. I can’t even imagine. It was hard to listen to, let alone live through.

Read his book, it’s an excellent read and I sincerely loved it. Well written by him and such an inspiration to us all. Lots of respect for him.

My favorite part of the Gutfeld show is the intro, and Tyrus is always tagged with something huge. Like this: "he once used the Washington Monument as a toothpick." He takes it all in stride, I'm pretty sure he could take Gutfeld? I wonder, does the show have security in the studio, or does Tyrus perform that function as well? We never see him or the others standing, for once I'd like to see him next to Gutfeld and Kat, but he is probably sick of size jokes by now. Great to see him with this career spinoff, who would have guessed!
