Super cuddly and even tempered around us but every now and then they'd show up stinking brackish water to the high heavens with some critter half their own size in their mouth. @@woohooivan I was only a child at the time. The hamsters were kept in my room. The dog wasn’t allowed in there, but she would sneak in when my brother would forget to close the door (she was only supposed to be in one part of the house.) First chance she got, she would run to my room, eat all of my cat’s food and rub her nose all over the hamster cage. The hamsters generally slept through these episodes, because they happened in the daytime, and the hamsters were nocturnal. The cat never showed any interest in the hamsters 🐹.
