Jim's explanation of how women are attracted to men for certain characteristics, then after a few years of being together, the same women HATE their man for the SAME things they used to love him for. When my wife and I were dating, she thought I was funny and smart. She loved that I was read up on many topics and actually had an informed opinion on many things. Fast forward 10 years and she rolls her eyes at all my jokes and she HATES that I have an opinion on so many things. She mainly hates it because over the years she has tried to get me to change my views on things but after many conversations, I exposed the simplistic thinking in her views (but never demanded she change her views) so I became an asshole for NOT changing my views to hers even though she could not articulate a convincing argument for her views. I really think that women and men both need variety inherently. Men need variety sexually and women need a variety of male personalities. Men marry hoping his wife never changes her personality, but she instantly does. Women marry hoping she can change everything about him but most men never change. So almost instantly, both feel cheated.

Tyrone Biggums yup, Patrice also said something similar, comparing men to fisherman and women to fish. The women want you to get rid of your fishing pole and boat after you “catch” her it’s her away of dominating your manhood and making you undesirable to other women
