This is basically Ashkenazi. But still wonderful. Look forward to Sephardic dances :) Shalom!

@@fk7566 they are basically Jews that came to Central Europe and lived there for centuries and later had to flee to Poland and Lithuania and well we know what happened with Hitler 😬they spoke a German dialect with Hebrew words and used the Hebrew alphabet that’s what I know about them💁🏻♀️

@@emilaslan8452 yeah it almost feels a bit offensive honestly. i'm not sure if half of these dances are even known in israel. very few שירי עם or other types of traditional music/dance mentioned here. but this is a good representation of haredi dance, ha
Bir göz atayım diye açıp, tamamını izledim. Harika.. Bir kere daha bravo Vasilis.. Büyük emek ama sonuç muhteşem.

Usually the Greeks turn Turkish dance videos into genocidal topics, but strange enough no mention of Israeli crimes here :D

@Guzide Erden Teşekkür ederim!!
Bravo!! Professionally executed, as always. You added a nice, comical touch when you had one of the dancers not keep up with the other dancers. It made me laugh! I remember how my cousin used to worry about making any mistakes when she was on stage with other ballet dancers, but laugh at the thought later. I wonder if you or others you know have ever made any mistakes on stage that you can laugh about.

Thank you very much!! For sure, countless examples. Wardrobe malfunctions, falling, forgetting steps, laughing in bloopers... :D

We appreciate your attributing our music to us. "Mazel Tov Dances" (Maxwell Street Klezmer Band, "You Should be So Lucky!" Shanachie 1996) was created and recorded by the Mickey Katz Orchestra, from his album "Music for Weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, and Brisses." Just wanted to give credit to the original composer. Keep up the dancing!

фольклор = и не только еврейский= не превзойти композиция выше всяких похвал василис великолепно исполняет танцы разных народов моисеевец
The theme for Greek Karagozis was adapted by Jewish musicians for klezmer orchestra. The character of Karagozis comes up in other cultures as the cunning fool who outwits the local rulers.

So Beautiful
Μπράβο Βασίλη, που μαθαίνεις και ξέρεις όλους τους χορούς και σέβεσαι άλλες κουλτούρες.
This was nice to watch but a lot of it looked like Fiddler on the Roof. Israeli folk dance is very rich with other influences that only received the briefest of nods here.

This is not a political video, don't try to make it such. Also, no one in Central Europe dances like that. It's not my "fake mediocre video" that bothered you, but it's the existence of Israel. Anyhow, the Jewish culture has been in "the business" for a throuple of thousands of years, so... xD
