I pray for the Lord to judge for the genocides that was committed against his children! 🙏 Thank you for sharing this video. I have lived in Turkey and it is very interesting to see, how the Greek, Armenian, and Assyrians cultur and music has impacted the country. As a Turk, I was born in Antep. There are still Armenian traces in many places, especially in historical buildings. When I lived there and looked at those historical buildings, I always tried to look at them from the perspective of an Armenian, not a Turk. The dances and music in the video are still used, even the words in the Cappadocian melodies are still exactly the same. It is very sad that you are away from the lands that are precious to you, but on the other hand, thank you for leaving this culture to us. I hope that one day we will be able to sing, play and enjoy these melodies here again. Thank you Vasilis

Although he was a Muslim, he never interfered with their religion. He saved 200 thousand Assyrian daughters from YPG ISIS in Syria. They were raping them. To be fair, Yarkhushta may've originated in Sassun and Mush, but it extended all throughout the Armenian Highlands all the way until Cappadocia

At 12:23, you see the 353,000, and that is the number of Pontian Greeks killed in the genocide. This is an incredibly beautiful and profound artistic homage to the precious Christians of Asia Minor -- so perfect, every detail, thank you. And to all watching, can you IMAGINE that these people groups lived in Asia Minor for millenia before the genocides of the early 20th century, when the Turks killed them and drove them out? Memory Eternal to each of the precious souls.

Magnificent choreography & composition; masculinity, femininity, artistic sensuality; a missed opportunity of unity for all 3 cultures in history in spite of significant contribution of each to world culture and heritage. Simply wow! Love to see more of the Assyrian song and dance, deserving to be presented to the world stage on silver plate!

Unbelievably wonderful! I miss the dance music of Turabdin in the local language (Western Assyrian, Surayt). Despite this, this is one of the best videos in KZread. Love to Greece, Armenia and Assyria!

As an American of Japanese ancestry, I have visited many countries and danced with many cultures. Thank you for this. Genocide is a terrible thing and we as Americans are ignorant about other parts of the world. Th music is wonderful and the photos are amazing...

Thank you so much. The first piece is Aysenur Kolivar singing the traditional song of hamshil Armenians of the Black Sea region. Remember her performing ages ago on the concert of Armenian folk songs - she is a wonderful singer. I really love the energy you show in these dances. Yarkushta is a very energetic dance, the dance of warriors.

I'm from Ordu (Κοτύωρα/Kotyora) and I resonated with all these beautiful dances from deep inside me. Especially with all the Pontic parts. Great job!
