I loved every single dance you did especially Vallja e Shpatave(The Sword Dance) which is from the region of Malesia e Madhe(The Great Highlands) which is located in north-western Albania and southern Montenegro!

Another great video, bravo Vasilis ! Even though I'm from the South - I absolutely love, love, love the dances from the north especially the sword dance. To me it seems that every dance has a very rich , bold story behind them .

Very nice. Dances from northerner Albania are more dynamic for both men and women, while the south has both dynamic and slow for men and mostly slow for women.

Il nostro direttore della scuola che era anche il prof di storia della danza mi ha messo 10 avendo risposto alla lezione su questa danza.... Poi irini qieriako ci accompagnava in tutti i tournée x il mondo. Eccezionale sei. Unico non raro. Diamante della danza folcloristica.

Vasilis il 10 dicembre è stato la giornata dedicata ai diritti umani. E uno dei popoli dimenticato dal intero mondo è il popolo rom romani. La loro musica e i loro balli xhe hanno dato radici ai più grandi correnti musicali, non vengono valorizzati e soprattutto non insegnati e divulgati. Ti che sei sensibile. Potresti fare un video anche con i loro balli così saranno visibili al mondo?

There are a 100 % more important albanian dances that he doesn’t know , in dukagjin at Kosovo are just above 100 very old old dances that he didn’t show , he is fantastic at doing this for that i cant say anything just 🔥🥂

The north of Albania has always been under attack from Slavs which is why even when they dance you can see they dance like fighting because they could never really dance without that protective “shield”. You can see that from the expressions of the face and of course the way they dance with swords. Really really fascinating. my favourite part is “vallja treshe” from Cameria.

My grandfather told me that War dances became wedding dances due to the fact that many clashes used to happen that many unmarried Albanians used to get married before war and so War dances were performed

North Albanians especialy malesia still hold the Tribal Illirian Structure till this day with kryezoti and kryeplak While the south used to have it too it was lost around the begins of the 1800s when everything become more centralized

Thank you!! :) Albanian dancing is difficult in its whole, there isn't something easy, because it's very unique. The rhythms are ancient. Personally, I think Cham dances and Kukes (or generally areas of the north - Tropoja, Kosovo, Malesia) are the most difficult. :))
