There were many great episodes in which different situations were playing out for the main characters and then tied together. Kramer's invention of the cologne he pitched to Calvin Klein was another hilarious one, especially when Kramer parades in front of Klein and his two assistants in his white briefs and then keels over while trying to lean against a wall.

By the way, Jerry says people hated the Seinfeld finale, but I didn't... I thought it was great! And the Curb finale was also fantastic, the best two comedic shows of my lifetime!

Jerry, just so you know, there are some of us who LOVED the Seinfeld finale. It was sheer brilliance to bring those four characters to account for their behavior and resurrect so many of those great “side-characters” throughout the years for their ‘trial’. THAT WAS GOLD TOO, Jerry! Both finales were nothing short of superb! You’ve accomplished a major goal here: a “show about nothing” IS, indeed timeless, so the laughs never wear out. I watch Seinfeld every night before hitting the sheets; nothing better than a good laugh before nodding off! Curb was great, - but Seinfeld….’best show of all-time’!

According to Jason Alexander, there is a slightly different version of events. Jason says that the episode taped in front of the studio audience and that the (location) scene on the beach was played to a tepid response. As scripted for shoot day, this was the end of the episode; as this played out, Jerry & Larry saw that this would not work as a conclusion. Jason was approached, asked how long he needed to prep for, "a page" of monologue, and he replied, "Ten minutes." Additionally, Jason related that this came at the end of a very long night of taping: their shoot schedule could push quite late as they collectively worked to solve the puzzle at hand.

The reason I loved Jerry and cast was because they clicked such that it SEEMED effortless. I reference Seinfeld almost as often as song lyrics when describing different experiences. It is a handy shortcut.

"So authentic and really never using foul swear words" - Are you saying he doesn't use swear words at all, or he just doesn't use swear words that you would deem as foul?

@@thepsychologist8159 Yeah, weird comment. I guess if someone has only seen the series or the "I'm Telling You For The Last Time" HBO special, they'd think Jerry keeps the language pretty PG. Methinks Chris Pedersen should check out the documentary Comedian. It might rock his world, though.

When Jerry came in to save the day in the last episode of Curb…… it was the most beautiful moment in the whole show!!! Because they almost never do just totally happy endings on Curb but to have the last episode end like that was just perfect.

My friend read a 2 page poem once. Five years later, he recited it word for word. I asked him why he memorized it. He said he didn't. I tested him five years later, asking him to recite it again. He said he couldn't. I pressed him. He thought for 10 seconds and recited it again.

You should buy the set of Seinfeld DVDs. It's hours & hours of Jerry talking behind the scenes stuff from Seinfeld. As well as Larry David, all the actors, and all the writers. If you're a fan of the show, it's a treasure trove.

@@lynnturman8157 Agree with this comment. Tthe Seinfeld boxed set also has a feature called "Notes About Nothing." If you toggle the subtitles, one of the options is an ongoing stream of info and behind-the-scenes trivia.
