Jerry Stiller was the 2nd Frank Costanza. The first actor was John Randolph (he played Roseanne's dad on Roseanne and Clark Griswold's dad on Christmas Vacation). They refilmed the Randolph scenes with Jerry Stiller for syndication.

I think Estelle Harris is one of the greatest comedic actresses ever on TV. She created a very clearly defined character that really explains George’s psyche. Frank and Kramer are more broadly comic

Frank Constanza was originally played by John Randolph. He only appeared in the episode “the handicap spot” before they reshot his role with Jerry Stiller. Really glad they got Jerry because John was far too calm for Franks character.

That scene with George as the little boy and the birthday cake while his parents are screaming at him just about made me piss in my pants. I don't know who the kid actor was but his facial expression was a classic!

No matter what is going on in my life, whether good times or the most difficult. This show always and without fail creates the same emotions and reactions in me. Pure nostalgia, joy, comfort, happiness, and laughter. Always laughter. My dream would be to tell Jerry Seinfeld this someday. So thankful for the effort that was given in this show!

Frank Costanza was one of my favorite characters; the scene where George and his mom walk in on Frank and Kozmo, 'As I rained blows up him ...', and the outtakes of picking George up at the precinct with Elaine are classic.
The yelling gets me every time lmao

love Seinfeld. Elaine dancing, Kramer"s entrances into Jerry's apt, and George's parents always yelling at each other. Alot of good gags & scenes. The soup nazi & master of your domain are my fav episodes. I always watch the reruns no matter what episode is playing. A show about nothing- amazing.

F--k I miss this show. I watched it in the 90's and was pretty much the only TV show I watched other than the Simpsons and early Star Trek. This is a cool reminder of good comedy and character. And you can do the same for all the characters, but of course Jerry seemed to be the most grounded except when it came to Babu Bhatt. Jerry's good naturism sort of screwed him over every turn.
