About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

no it isnt. it suggests that all outcomes are binary. and they aren't. many outcomes in fact are indeed singular. for example, if you are a short balding chubby guy - you doing the OPPOSITE and approaching a beautiful woman somewhere will in fact net you the same result as if you didnt do anything which is: she's not interested in you. only you will have the embarrassment for trying on top of it and the assurance that comes along with it that you shouldnt be trying in the first place.

The whole "the opposite" thing is not entirely wrong. Though probably not for just being the opposite. It's more to do with taking chances, thus greater amount of negative AND positive results. 1:40 I love how Jerry winds George up just to entertain himself.
One of the best, along with the Marine biologist. There’s really something in this attitude.
George was the funniest of ALL the characters on the show.

I find Kramer to be equally funny. But George's dad might be funnier than both of them
My name is George. I'm unemployed and I live with my parents. - George Costanza. One of the greatest lines of this show.

That and "George is gettin upset".
"What a beautiful day for a ballgame........LET'S PLAY TWO!"
George is the funniest character in the show
I love George's acceptance and resignation to years of failure..content and safe at the bottom of the ladder..Elaine's facial questions and then Jerry's line...It does make a lot of sense...
Geo: "Nothing's ever worked out for me with tuna on toast". Absolutely the scientific conclusion!
Another funny thing is the subtle, quick shot of Jerry asking Elaine for the napkin basically revealing his lack of interest in what George is saying.

Yes!
“I put Canadian quarters in the washing machine” I love how she delivers that line😂
“I’m GEORGE!” 🤣🤣🤣
"What a beautiful day for a ball game....let's play two!"
Half of me is laughing, half is marveling at how great Elaine looks.
Jason is incredible of course and by far the superior actor, but Jerry really nailed these scenes. He was the perfect actor for the show.

"Don't say that"
My high school math teacher used to always say 'life is a series of choices'. At the time i never thought about the premise. I would chalk it up as a saying that old people would say. As ive aged, i realized just how true those words actually are. Once we become aware and are a product of our own decisions, each one puts you on a particular path. Each one is connected to the one previous whether they relate or not but in the end we're all a product of the ones we make. Mind blowing
This is the exact moment that George's life changed for the better.
That woman should have won an Emmy just the way she delivered the "I'm Victoria. Hi!"

After hearing the worst pickup line ever.
this episode is unironically inspiring, there's no way I'm the only one who watched this and decided to improve their life by doing the opposite

4:12 Kramer quickly loses interest in Elaine's soul wrenching lol
3:08 “Was that the.... opposite... of what you were about to say or was that your natural.... - (smush) - instinct?” “Nstnkt”
My favorite episode! The way it started to the way it ended was genius! 😂 Elaine: I'm George, I'm George

Elaine in curly hair is so adorable. It disappointed me in the later seasons when she would straighten her hair
I never realized exactly how much George and I are the same. It’s like he’s speaking to my experience.
There's a balance between Elaine and George, like the episode where George got smarter Elaine got dumber
Quintessential 90s TV Elaine bemoaning that she has become George looking like George was amazing.
