Yeah....if you think about it. It was to either intensify the absurdity of the situation, or to emphasize that she was a NYer not used to that kind of heat at that particular point in the summer, or, going there with the forethought that the AC would be blasting because of the heat. All I could think was, "Get those sheets and blankets off of you, and change into something lighter!"😂

I do to shower at night and put me to sleep throughout the night and any other time I sleep. I automatically get tired from Seinfeld now because my brain knows it's my lullaby lol.

Not sure what you mean by "up there". If you mean where the show takes place, New York City, the record high temperature there is 106*F (41C). But during a normal summer probably low 90's F (33C) at most. If by "up there" you mean anywhere in the United States, the highest temperature ever recorded on Earth was in Death Valley in California at 134*F (56.7C). It can get pretty hot up here. 😏

It's an expression people use when the weather is really hot and humid. It was really hot and humid in the sauna, so Kramer commented that it was like a sauna..in the sauna.

I recently watched a video about how the older generations kept cool during the summer in Florida, without AC. It was pretty interesting and inspired me to elevate the thermostat a bit. We really do live lives of comfort.
