Oh my goodness, that interview was incredible. The editing was also perfect, the pacing with Short's comic timing was so good. I could watch it for hours!

The "why did they put an s in lisp" joke is definitely an old one. It goes along with Aibohphobia being the word for fear of palindromes (words that are the same backwards and forwards) and Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia being the word for fear of long words.

@@DT-dc4br I'm confused by that one. Dyslexic people don't have a tough time with the letter 'y,' they reverse the order of syllables or mix up similar looking letters like 'd' and 'b' or 'p' and 'q.'

@@catherinesmith312 I was a little disappointed in both Bill Mahr and Hader interviews. Both were able to keep it straight in previous interviews, but neither of them could hold it in front of Marty. But yes, we can never have enough Glick interviews.

Jiminy Glick - man. I saw Martin perform him for my first time seeing Martin on broadway and it was insanely funny in person. The quick wit of this guy is unmatched

@@lizg.8626 I can believe much of it is improvised, but I also believe quite a few of the one-liners he uses are actually jokes he has used before. He inserts those into an "interview" process so he doesn't have to invent all the comic lines as he goes along.

Martin Short is one of the greatest comedians to ever walk the earth. He and Steve Martin are absolute legends, and they work so good together. And, that Hader interview was GOLD. Glick is a brilliant character that only a brilliant comedian could portray. This is a hell of a kick-off to the summer of guest hosts. It's gonna be hard to top. I don't think anybody is better equipped than Short and Martin.

Had to watch the interview twice to catch all the references, were so many one after another, what a genius

I love it when Bill snorted while laughing! When someone snorts while laughing, it just shows how funny the other person is in my opinion. That segment was so hilarious! The return of Jiminy right now is so timely - just what we need, at least for me. He interviewed Bill Maher on Friday. I oftened wondered if Martin could pull it off at this stage in his career, what the character would lose. The answer is nothing. Anything he's not doing physically he's just making up for with quickness and wit. I love Martin Short and Jiminy. I think Short is one of the top 5 comedians of all time.
