I honestly think, with no exaggeration or hyperbole, that Martin Short might be the greatest and funniest improviser of all time. Watch any of his interviews and his comedic timing is just natural talent that can’t be taught. And Jiminy Glick is his greatest achievement.

He allows the interviewee to be funny while he riffs with them perfectly. He makes it fun and challenging at the same time so they’re up for it. Like when Larry David says “you don’t like the wall?” That has to be the most tailor-made setup in comedy history. Just perfect. Martin is incredibly smart and funny.
