Y’all let’s not forget some races age slower than others. I do believe she’s had some work done but not alot. My mother is 47, 100% Puerto Rican🇵🇷 & besides a little weight gain she still looks the same! Her face has little to no wrinkles, no sagging or sunkeness. No surgeries or injections cause we can’t afford that. It ain’t magic, just good skincare and great genes! 😉✨✨

@Maya Alan I’m not sure what the disagreement is about, I know she got work done. I was just pointing out the facts that race and genetics play a major role in the aging process! And all of her youth/beauty shouldn’t be credited to surgery. That’s all. Ofcourse there are some white ppl who age well, and even some black people who don’t. That’s why I said genetics too, not just race…lifestyle plays a part as well & It’s no doubt Jlo lives a healthy lifestyle cause her body is 🔥🔥🔥

Her family was dirt poor & lived in a one room shack.If you think any kind of child gender intervention was available in the 1940s, you're delusional. There are also scores of pics of Dolly in the 1960s, when GRS was rare, hard & expensive. Her adult soprano singing voice is not possible for someone assigned male at birth.She has been married for 50 yrs to the same man & has had gynelogical problems that prevented her from having children. I am not getting into a culture debate with you, your theory is easily disprovable & not logical. Lopez has been friends with Leah Remini since their teens & would know. . I'm Italian and eat a lot of olive oil in my diet. No it doesn't make you look younger. I wish. I'm 54 and I look younger because I've had laser resurfacing under my eyes. Lol. And I use prescription retin A. I'd like a lower face lift to be honest. He's right about gravity, muscle and fat loss. Cream or oil doesn't work for that.

I have seen before and after photos on KZread of regular KZreadrs who are amazingly good at contouring and makeup in general Their transformation are amazing., They can change the structure of their face with make up and make cheekbones appear higher and nose narrower. Maybe some celebs aren't doing as much as we think.

Nose job is SO OBVIOUS!! I just rewatched THE WEDDING PLANNER (2001), and I’m sitting here saying out loud to myself, “yeah…. She’s definitely had a nose job”. Being Puerto Rican can help (I’m half-Hispanic myself)… but come on. She’s had her nose done!!!

I understand if someone maybe doesn't want to discuss their plastic surgery, or get too deep into the details, or announce it, but there's no excuse for outright lying about it. I get tired of hearing people gush over her beauty and that she "looks great at 50" (and she is beautiful), when a big part of it is that she's rich and can afford to to have surgery, not to mention make up artists, etc. at her disposal.

The only shame in having work done is if it's done poorly. I've seen some absolutely horrific and obvious nose jobs and I just can't look at these people and take them seriously at all. Years ago, J-Lo admitted to using a spray gadget to apply makeup...so she likely uses foundation colors that are a few shades darker than her real complexion...plus uses darker bronzers and highlighters.

Agree, Jennifer has had her surgeries discreetly and the surgeon was obviously very skilled. She's never looked better. Imo. However, she's just at that point where she's beginning to look 'plastic'. They all reach it...Cher did, Jane Fonda. Madonna has gone past to freaky and many others are getting that 'freaky' look. Joan Rivers sure did! It's just this undefinable frozen expression.. Jennifer is almost there. the structure of her entire face has changed and she wants to insult our intelligence by claiming its just her olive oil product? that kind of insult to the public doesn't sell more product. Just admit you are doing some aesthetic interventions to help age gracefully. I will never understand the denial. I don't really know one way or another but I do know that J Lo has been known to have had periods in her life while she was rubbing $3000 an ounce cream (Creme de la Mer) all over her body every night. I think it's plausible that her face has simply matured (except perhaps her nose). But, I wouldn't be surprised either way.

The only thing shameful about cosmetic surgery is lying about because it promotes an impossible standard of graceful aging and makes people feel bad about themselves when they aren’t aging as “perfectly” as someone like Jennifer Lopez.

I'm a big JLo fan, even got to meet her in person but I have to say...I love how you did this segment on her. I agree, she definitely had work done to her face. Yes! When you straighten your curls often it tends to make the curls limp. It’s happened to me and for me to have one day curls I have to use curling products and braid it then I have my curls for one day. Gotta big chop and start from scratch to have them curls.

i love her original nose and natural smile. I've seen her in person one day as I was crossing the street. She does have lines just not deep set. I'd like to add that my very much poor older relatives do not have deep lines on their face either. Genes play a part in it. but i do believe she has had at least a mini face lift.

Jennifer’s nose got smaller and her lips got fuller. Where’s before her nose was bigger and her lips were thinner. I liked her previous jawline. I think her smile was more beautiful before. At 0:18 Jennifer looked beautiful. Then she went blonde and lost her uniqueness

I don't know why its such a touchy subject with some or many celebs. We all know or can find out how old they are, they're not fooling anyone not in the internet age. To me its like losing weight or muscle building, you're doing it to change the shape of your appearance. No different than using makeup really.

I recently had a facelift and I thought the whole process was very interesting. I sent photos to family and friends of before and am documenting the whole thing. And yes, day 1 post-op is pretty gruesome. I looked like I had been hit by a truck. But now, just 3 weeks out I am SO HAPPY! I have a pretty, defined, firm chin and jaw again, and my crumbling around the mouth and nose is gone. Also, when I bend over to dry my hair half of my face doesn’t fall over too. I love my surgeon, he is an artist, and so is whoever did J-Lo’s work. She is much more beautiful now than nature alone made her. You go J-Lo!

Thank you for your professional opinion and honesty. Being a woman who is about to hit 50 with all the natural signs of aging makes me feel normal and comfortable that nature is taking its course. However, in 5 years' time, I would like a mini lift to improve the marionette mouth and sagging cheeks.

Thank you for making this! Whoever is working with Jennifer Lopez and whoever is her surgeon they are the best in the business because nothing about her looks strange or screaming I got a facelift amongst other things. I think that everything about her is very subtle, I wholeheartedly wanted to believe her at the age of 52 that she had great genetics but there’s just no way! To have all that money and live in Los Angeles I’m sure she has the hook up to a lot of really great injectors and plastic surgeons. She also had twins so her body snap back pretty quickly but that’s probably because she’s always in shape because she’s a dancer. I watch on American Idol a few years ago and yes with some bad lighting and a bad picture you can see aging before the most part even through the camera she looked pretty flawless. I do know she had a rhinoplasty you can see the Indentation on her nose. But I think that’s very wrong of her to try to sell her skin care products and tell people this is what she’s been using her whole life to look the way she looks, I feel that if she was open and honest they could help a lot of people. I wish she would go a little bit more in depth and talk about what you think she’s had done

Hello Dr. Motykie.. I have a question, is it possible that I can have a rhinoplasty if I have a broken nose bridge? It is broken above and below the bridge and makes it tilt a little bit to one side. This happened 3 decades ago so it might be really solid now, but it does affect my breathing sometimes. I was curious if it can collapse during surgery. Thank you 😊

People age in different speed. It depends on a lot of factors, like smoking, sun exposure, lifestyle, genes etc. It's not same for everyone, people age at different rates. Having said that, you can't really ago so that you look like a different person but of still same age. Like J Lo looks quite different than she did when she was 25, it's almost like different person.

Thanks for the education here on what skin care/diet/lifestyle can realistically do vs not. I feel like there's a lot of misconceptions out there and given out common plastic surgery is nowadays, I really don't see the purpose of anyone lying about it anymore. Unless, as you said, there's a financial incentive.

Btw, olive oil really is excellent for your skin, at least once you are past 40 it replaces some of the natural things your body slows down on making, plus vitamins and minerals. I only use olive or Jojoba oil on my skin and everyone things i am a lot younger than I am (early fifties).
