I didn’t mind the wrinkles; it’s the wet hair and the neck that is just weird.. it’s okay to age guys. Embrace and enjoy every stage of your life. She just needed a beautiful way to celebrate that jacket and a new hairstyle. Most people don’t even live to see their 50s; kids as young as 9 are addicted to makeup, by 15 it’s botox/fillers. Trying soo hard to stop time/aging. Surgery is at it’s all time high. We need to change

Anyone that does filler and botox on someone that young should lose their license. Surely they don't need it till at least after 30 if they chose to. At 30 my skin was still pretty tight and line free naturally, I wouldn't have messed with my face even then, in my 40's still haven't. People just need to learn how to look after their skin first so they don't feel they need that so early. I feel like when you mess with the face too early it just makes people age faster later on.

Jennifer Lopez is 54 and has the signs of aging many women in that age range have and then add the fact that menopause could be in full effect, I think overall she looks good in her clothes and personal style. For Hollywood standards some may say she needs some work, but she went through the same criticism around 5 plus years ago when she launched her olive oil skincare line and people were posting similar photos of her and there was a lot of controversy then. I think there’s a lot of pressure to remain youthful looking, without any lines or sagging and sadly for many women over 45, this will be their experience. The wonderful thing in this day and age, there are many treatments, skincare, diets, surgeries whatever option a person choices to renew, revitalise and restore a more youthful presentation. We have to show each other grace. It’s a journey being a woman, we’re either too young, too old, too fat, too thin..and most of the sentiments are enforced by other women❤

I'm a few yrs older than JLo and have absolutely no wrinkles anywhere, no surgeries, not anything & I don't eat the healthiest either. Most of my bio family members look 15 yrs younger than their actual age. It's a STRONG POSSIBLITY JLO HAS GREAT GENES then add on top of that she takes damn good care of herself esp eating very healthy and exercising as well. Not smoking, not drinking and sunscreen MATTERS and doing ALL OF IT the majority of your lifetime. Besides she's Puerto Rican/Latina and looking younger than what they are is in their genetics esp if they have just an ounce of color in their bloodline. When and/or if wrinkles do appear on her, she'll have all the know how and the tools to diminish them and still look good inspite of.

I think we are not accustomed to seeing folks with their naturally aged face, without a filter. I don't use filters for this reason. I am also fortunate enough to be AA with a deeper skin tone and look 10 years younger than my age.

I damn near died when my lash lady closed down for three months during the early stages of the pandemic. I've been wearing lashes since 2010 . I get a fill every two weeks. If nothing else my lashes are always done , volume 11mm for a natural look.

I think it is important to note that red carpet pictures are usually airbrushed/taken in very flattering lighting before released to the public. Basically a lot of celebs literally look just like us day-to-day.

Spot on Mz Fumi. More mature women in age dont have to show skin to look exquisitely beautiful. The lessons to be given here to younger ladies is soo important because it can direct their thinking process and for them to see that its not a scary phenomenon to age, its nature and we can embrace it. My only concern is that surgery is to be the absolute last option unless medical accidents necessitate surgery. Sometimes, memtal health can remedy most imperfections.
