Due to the side effects of medication I had a neck and full facelift 4-years ago at age 54 and it still looks great. My surgeon is a Yale educated board-certified surgeon who also specializes in reconstructive surgery . He has corrected countless poor procedures that his patients have had done over the years.During my initial consultation I told him my concern not to look feminine or have that stretched appearance that so many celebrities have today. The procedure took seven hours and involved tightening muscles and adding my own body fat to my face as opposed to fillers. Friends and coworkers were blown away at the results. One coworker told me “how did you leave for two weeks and come back looking 15 years younger?’ It wasn’t cheap but well worth it. Paying for a top surgeon is worth the cost.

I guess it can depend on the person. Many women are doing them mid-40s onward. However, I've known people who looked 20 years old than they actually are. I've met 25 year olds who looked closer to 50. Genetics and lifestyle can determine a lot of that. Then there are those lucky eternally youthful types. :)

Very educational. Aging is NOT just sagging skin. I am an esthetician and so many clients in their 40's and 50's want to just fill and do laser. It simply doesn't work. I strongly recommend they do surgical tweaks along the way for a natural result. I do understand not everyone wants surgery however at a certain point laser can't address the sagging muscle and filler can't compensate for the sagging skin. A well done facelift by a board certified plastic surgeon is MUCH more natural. Great video.

As an esthetician I'm unfortunately already seeing a lot of young people who are over plumped or looking deflated following too many fillers or have skin that's in horrible condition but unfortunately rather than address the fact that there are simple, non-invasive procedures or even literally something a simple as a home skincare routine that includes moisturizing, occasional exfoliation and spf surgeons went ahead and did unnecessary procedures that don't help their overall skin condition or look in the long run..!

Yes dr. Gary I TOTALLY AGREE, Sonia Morgan had a skilled surgeon, she looks like 20 yrs younger and fresh without having that facelift look. wish it was as easy as going to her dr, but i feel everone has different skin bones and such and i fear even if i went to that very dr. my results could be not as good. the other one that was amazing is marge's mom on jersey housewives andthis work. she is in her 70's can you maybe talk of hers on another show,i can.t tell if it was her first facelift but you can, just curious. if I do decide to do it I'm calling you lol your so knowledgable and seem to care about the results, thank you.

Doctor your videos your talent, skills and experience make these videos enjoyable and easy to understand very educational Your channel is the best on KZread for facial surgeries I sincerely mean that. In my 40 year career in film and video production and post production I have worked with so many celebrities who have had surgeries to enhance their natural beauty and look believably younger. And many more male celebrities are having the procedures you talk about to keep slowing down the effects of aging. Watching your videos have helped me understand what I have seen through the camera over the years. I now understand more about what the make-up artists do to create a temporary face lift some times taking two make-up artist 3 hours to create a look that only lasts a few hours on camera. I see now why the big stars 🌟 ⭐️ go for cosmetic surgeries and treatments. Thank you for sharing your experience with all of us 🌟👍

Lol I love the intro and how you showed your team behind the scenes telling you your cues! Very interested, not in getting plastic surgery myself I’m more of a preventive person than to fix my skin, I’m almost 30 and I think my skin is pretty supple for my age tbh. Many other people have commented saying I look younger than my age, I don’t think so I think I look just my age range, which I think is good! It’s not good to look older than your age but it’s also not good to try and look super young from plastic surgery, you want to be able to age gracefully, not age at all. Just my opinion though

@@mslinda8456 I mean, my mom looks pretty darn good for her age ngl, she’s 65 now and looks probably at least 10 years younger, I think it’s her grey hair that ages her the most tbh. Although she has big pores due to many breakouts through puberty and menopause, she claims it’s the excess sebum in oily peoples skin that keeps it from getting too wrinkly 😂 idk how true that is though lol. I’m not as freaked out from nasolabial folds as I used to be. It shows I’m living a full and happy life where I smile often, and I’m able to be on this earth long enough to develop signs that I’ve matured, also like I said at least I am able to be in this earth and develop wrinkles instead of not here at all like many of my friends my own age that have already passed on.

Very good overview of facelifts. I agree with your assessment of the good lifts except Dolly Parton. I think her mouth looks odd and she's starting to look overly pulled. Jane Fonda has had excellent work. I enjoy watching your videos. I'm in my 50s and have considered a facelift, but all the horror stories have scared me (ie as you mentioned Melanie Griffith, Meg Ryan, Goldie Hawn). I would want a result that didn't look like a facelift. Even some of the good work like Jane Fonda's looks "done" to me. I'd want something more natural if that makes any sense.

Aging is definitely not just about fat and skin. I can see it in my own face. I don't have wrinkles and I can see from pictures that my face hasn't changed a lot over 20 years. I'm 40 and although my face isn't fatter, I can definitely see the change in my facial structure. Its not dramatic but its like my face is broader but it's the bone. My eyes seem smaller and its like my forehead and cheek bones got flatter lol. Hardly anyone else would notice but I do. The only good thing is my big nose doesn't seem that big anymore compared to my narrow, sharp jawed younger self.

What I find hilarious and sad about facial surgery is that the clear implication is that there is something wrong with having wrinkles or sagging skin. Everybody consciously or subconsciously wants to look their best, but there comes a point where who you are inside should be far more important than what you look like on the outside. Does my having wrinkles make any difference to the people who love me ? No, it doesn't. Of course in Hollywood you pretty much have to go under the knife if you want to have a long career.

My mom had a fantastic facelift and her whole outlook and mental health improved. So don’t get snarky, you just harm people who your judge mental nonsense influences to not get work that would genuinely improve their lives. Cher has had pics of no makeup and with her real hair-- paparazzi pics from recent Italian vacation. Really.....she looked the same, just no bedazzle. They may look lots better than say...Melanie Griffith, who just looks so unrecognizable, but there is still so much of that plastic look, imo.... Basically, if this is what they all want or feel its necessary for their 'careers'....it matters not one bit what I think!
