It's very "clear" Dietz No.2 Blizzard with clear marked globe!

Here we have a new video, with a clear globe I just got from a collector, at a very reasonable price. I also am trying out the new camera that my brother donated! So, hope you enjoy the improved quality!

Ed! yes, you have to get one! I have a wall mounted one, with a top jar! Greatest grinder, and the tighter you secure the wing nut on the front of the crank, the courser the grounds!

I just picked one of these up while driving around for work, watching your videos the whole time, I had a gut feeling and decided to stop in a little antique store along the way and spotted this lantern, picked it up for 30 bucks! I wasn't 100% sure what I had until I watched your video on the early blizzards. I cleaned it up using your method and it looks perfect. I was checking the boxes as you described the first generation, getting more and more excited, the original marked glass is in great shape, heck the lift ring is even still there and everything works perfectly. Can't wait to fire it up for the first time in who knows how long. I never come across deals like that. So happy.

Love it ! I came into a No. 2 about a month ago, with a clear Syracuse Fitzall, after a youth misspent on Blizzard 80s. I have a red fitzall type globe from a Paulls No. 0 I will swap in and out with the Cuse globe. I'm livin high on the hog now !!!

Very nice early blizzard No2 . There's one of these and a blizzard No 2 dash lantern on display in a hardware store here in Cleveland Ohio, but the owner will not let them go. I can't say that I blame him, both lanterns are in amazing condition .

Ah, they are great lanterns and, it's no wonder they are not for sale. It's kind of surprising, on Etsy right now, is a early "outside lift" Blizzard dash lantern, someone painted it sky blue, and they want $400+ for it! I laugh because well, the one in this very video was priced at $125 and I did a little horse trading and snagged it. While the dash lanterns are rarer, I'd say $200+ would be a fair asking price but, they'll get tired of it sitting on Etsy with no offers or buys. Thanks for commenting, have a great week!

I always watch your videos for of course the lanterns. BUT, you threw open the door for a whole other subject. COFFEE! I sell Arbuckle's Coffee in my business and the owner of the company told me some interesting facts and I just wanted to share this one. He said that ground coffee beans lose more of their potency in one hour after grinding than whole beans do in 3 months.

Very true! Yes, I'm a big coffee fan, love it! This is why I grind my own, so I get the full flavor and punch, it has to give! Would love to try some of your product, if possible!

I have a blizzard that looks exactly like this one(smooth tubes, single wire ring pull, small filler cap, patina similar ) but mine has the bullseye fount bottom. Even though you didn’t show the bottom in this video, I assume it’s the same one you showed in another video and the fount bottom has less reinforcement ribs. Do you think mine is dated sometime 00-10? Thanks! When are you going to do video on vintage coffee grinders? Slow Percolated coffee is the best when camping
