Thank you so much. I'm still a bit up and down and did that thing where I've tried to do too much too soon and set myself back a bit. The Last Library was a nice easy listen for me.

Dearest Debra I’m so sorry you’ve been struggling with your health. Don’t stress yourself out by forcing yourself to read when you’re not ready. It won’t work that way. Wuthering Heights Is quite harrowing and as many have points out, not a romance at all. Looking forward to watching more of your videos glad you’re back. Aloha

I just found out Graham Norton had some books published, and a lot of people were saying they were really good. I need to check some of those out I think! I'm glad you're feeling better and are back on booktube. Always put your health first!

Hi Art - thank you so much 😀 Norton's books all have a cozy Irishness to them. I enjoyed The Keeper the most. It's a bit darker with a bit of a twist.

Fantastic to see you back, hope your health continues to recover. I've always avoided Graeme Norton on account of him being famous elsewhere and assumed he wouldn't we a good author, but maybe I enjoyed Ruth Jones recently, so maybe I need to give him a shot.

Thank you so much Scott 🤗 I know what you mean about 'celebrity' writers. They get a lot of publicity too. I enjoy Norton's writing style - it's easy with a coziness to it, while still be able to hook me in. I wouldn't say they're the best books. The Keeper was more stand out than the others.

So glad to see your return to video-making! After what seems to have been a fairly awful year for you (health-wise) it's good to hear that things may now be taking a turn for the better. As many others have already said, please put your health before anything to do with putting out content - as you now know, even if you have to take longer breaks, we will all still be here. Readers tend to be a patient bunch - well, you have to be, to be prepared to tackle chunky 'uns like 'Middlemarch' and such like 🙂 Thanks for the warning about the dedication in Claire Keegan's book; I'm very tempted to try it, after seeing so much positive comment recently and I really hate my first read of a book to be affected by spoilers. I'm looking forward to 2023 and am already starting to pencil in entries for my TBR list (usually one 'classic classic' and one 'modern classic' per month, with some room for an occasional optional extra if time permits). Let's hope next year grants all of us good health and lots of enjoyable reading. Take care and best wishes, Brian.

Thank you so much Brian. I really have missed everyone who supports my channel and reading in general. But like you say, I need to prioritise my health so I will probably have slightly less videos going forward to enable some balance. Claire Keegan's book was okay but really short. I would have liked more of it really. I'm looking forward to hearing about the books you do read in 2023. Thank you so much for continuing to support my channel so much. Wishing you all best. Take care

It is so lovely to see you have returned! I missed getting those notifications of you uploading another video. 😊 With that said, you clearly are making the right decision to prioritize your health. I'm so glad that you seem to be feeling better. Wuthering Heights is definitely not a cheery book! It's quite gothic and haunting, and many of the characters are just so unlikable. It can be a fun read, but it has to be the right time, I agree. I love the cover of The Last Chance Library. I'm currently reading Rhys Bowen's *The Twelve Clues of Christmas* and it's a charming holiday HF mystery. I hope you have a great final reading month of 2022!!

I often take time off when I need to, and people don’t mind, everyone understands that a break is necessary sometimes. I’m glad to hear things seem to be improving and I hope that continues. Hi Debra, I am so happy to see you again! I have missed your videos loads and really hoped you were okay. I'm sorry to hear that your health has been bad but glad to hear you are on the mend. I am well, although life seems to have been so full recently that I have not been finding much reading time. I am reading Project Hail Mary and have been now for about three weeks!! I read Small Things Like These a few months ago too and enjoyed it, but like you, I wished I hadn't read the dedication first. I read it as part of a read of all of the Booker Shortlist books and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with most of them. I also started Wuthering Heights in preparation for watching the Emily film ( I think we have talked about this before) but it was not the right time for me either with it and in the end I missed the film as I was too busy 🙈 ...oh well, one day. Sending you lots of love and looking forward to your next video....whenever it comes....no hurry!

Hi Rebecca - thank you so much for such a lovely comment. I really do appreciate it 🥰 I have really missed chatting books with everyone. I have recently passed the criteria to be able to write community posts for my channel. I'm really pleased about it and it means in future I'll be able to post messages etc if I'm unable to post videos. Such a shame about your Booker reading. I think a lot of people had similar experiences. The winning book did interest me for my Read Around the World challenge. I'm really interested to hear how you found that one. I'm on my phone and can't remember the exact title 🤔 - Seven Moons.... I've had to put Wuthering Heights to one side for now. It's not the vibe I need a the moment 😬 I also missed Emily the film at my local cinema. I think we would probably appreciate the film more once we've read the book. Something to plan for next year. Thank you so much for continuing to support me and my channel. Wishing you all the best and take care x

@@bookinwithdebra I didn't really enjoy The Seven Moons of Mali Almeida .I did think the writing was good but it just wasn't a story for me , or maybe just the wrong time. I read it last of all the Booker shortlist and I think I was feeling a bit" Bookered out" ...if that makes sense. The only two I enjoyed were Small Things and Treacle Walker. I do think Seven Moons is probably a good book, just not for me.
