Jack's hair looks so good! I love your family and your videos. But other people have said what I'm about to say and maybe now I imagine it. But it seems to me you pay way more attention to Jack and give him more praise than Sunny. She usually just over in the corner or behind something. I know the first born is usually the fave but at some point Sunny will start to notice. Also, does Sara still like Derrick??!😂😂❤❤

@@gloriasteiner1520 He adored her from the day she was born. As he did with Jack. As soon as she was born, all his attention was at Sunny. This is very uncommon as most Daddys cannot handle a baby and feel better around a toddler whom they can teach things and play games with. This video was about the guys getting hair cuts. As Sunny did not get one, obviously it was about Derik and Jack. Derik is the best Dad ever. How can you judge from a video? When Jack was a baby, Derik carried him around all the time. So does he with Sunny. Jack grew a bit older and got more and more independent. He has begun to play and explore by himself. Now Sunny has also started to crawl and play and explore by herself.

Wow I can't understand how people can judge someone off a 10 min video on how they treat there children. They seem like great parents and when your constantly under a microscope it can't be easy. That comment was very unnecessary. Your going to pick apart this family and scrutinize every little thing and then make judgment on weather or not they favor one child over the other is just sad. And don't get me started on asking if Sarah still loves Derek. Anyways just be kind and stop being so judgmental

Derek may be dramatic, but as the parent of a 24 and 20 year old the years fly by, and Derek is loving and living in every second. Jack and Derek looks amazing.

I've had ear tubes twice and they worked great EXCEPT for the last set. They got stuck inside my ear canal and created a massive infection eating holes in both my eardrums and I am now deaf from it. Drs kept saying nothing was wrong with my ears! Until I went to a kick butt ent and he pulled them out and said here is the reason for this smelly ears and infection. I make sure I tell others about my ears and what happened. Please please keep checking on them. I don't want to see anyone go through what I did.

Jack & Sunny are so beautiful !!! I loved Jacks long hair especially when you put it a top knot, but this cut is so nice (and it’s easier to see his handsome, smiling face. One other thing, y’all are so lucky that Jack is so sweet to his baby sister keep your fingers crossed that it continues and gets a little better as time goes one.

I was a recovery nurse for pediatric outpatient surgery. Be prepared for Jack to be a little off the day of surgery from anesthesia. The tubes relieve pressure immediately. The surgery is ten minutes, but you need to be there for prep and postoperative. His IV will be put in when he’s asleep. Good luck!

I liked it long to. He had his hair in a knott back of his head. Now he has hair in his eyes more than before.

My dad was the same way with my sisters and I’s hair. He has our baby ponytails to this day. A very sentimental man.

i love Derik & i always think his hair looks great, he has amazing hair!!!!! EXCEPT FOR this mullet. To be honest, when he said he was gong to get it done, i thought, ""ohh i don't like those but because Derik is such a good lookin' guy & his hair looks awesome long, short,&any style so far, it will probably be fine"..... I was wrong, it doesn't look right or good. I'm sorry to say that because i like to be positive& complimenting. I hope it grows out soon, to match his handsome smile &face. I love Jack's haircut and Derick's as well. I'm so sorry for Jack about having so many ear infections and I happy to hear he is getting tubes. I hope it helps out a lot. I hope you guys can reschedule your trips to Costa Rica and Alaska. Oh boy another surgery for Derick, i really hope that this one sticks and you won't have to have surgery again, unless you need surgery on the other knee, which would suck but hopefully you will be good after this surgery. Got my son ear tubes after eardrum rupture and was the best thing for him and us! It's so fast too like 10min ! We had just gotten coffee and the Dr came out so I thought something was wrong and he's like nope went great we are all done he's on way to recovery room to wake up. Sooo greatful !

Both my boys had Grommets in their ears when they were young and couldn’t get any water in their ears once the Grommets were fitted, it’s a simple and popular procedure when you have kids swimming a lot and getting water in their ears…had special ear plugs made for when they went swimming or had their hair washed, this was probably 30 years ago now. 😊❤️❤️

I love the new haircuts!! Both of them look so good!! Getting tubes in one of our children's ears made an amazing difference in her health. It stopped her ear infections! She had her first set at age 2 and her second set at age 4. She is an adult with her own 3 little ones and hasn't had an ear infection since she was a little tyke!! She does still have some minor hearing deficit in one ear, due to bursting her eardrum so many times before getting her ear tubes. Praying that the tubes help Jack, too!!

I hope you got a "First Curl" momento box or locket for Jack & for Sunny someday. My children are 30, 27, & 20 & I have their very first snip of hair (from their first haircuts) that are tied with a little ribbon & placed in their sterling silver "first curl" satin lined boxes. (looks like a jewelry box but much tinier & round shaped). I keep those in a cedar chest with all other memorabilia from their youth. Once or twice a year I'll go through that cedar chest & look at everything including their little lockets of hair from age 1 or 2 when they had their first haircuts. TRUST ME Sarah & Derick, you'll want to SAVE a LOCKET OF THEIR HAIR FROM FIRST HAIRCUTS. You tie it with a cute tiny ribbon & put in a keepsake box or even just a labeled envelope. BECAUSE 30 years from now, as you cherish those momentos from their youth, it will be very nostalgic. Our kids grow up WAY TOO FAST, HAVING THOSE MOMENTOS WHILE THEIR AT COLLEGE ARE EVERYTHING!❤ I'm blessed with grandkids now though, & my grandson was just born on 1/6. My daughter will be getting a sterling silver First Curl box for Mothers day again this year, along with a little satin blue ribbon to tie the hair snippet with when my grandson gets his first haircut. Got her one for my granddaughter as well when my granddaughter was born too. ❤ love you all! Derick & Jack both look handsome & Sarah a true queen who no matter what hairstyle her hubby picks, shes going to love him regardless & praise him. Even if mullets arent her favorite, if her husband wears it, it will become loved because she loves him. I love how jack loves his momma so dearly. My sons were always proud mamas boys too. They'll make great husband's someday ...soon most likely as their 20 & 27 now. Way to go on getting the tubes for jack, my son got them after 3 recurring ear infections over the course of 4 months. Those tubes were a Godsend. No more ear pain or infections & they just fell out after the ear canals matured growed so fluid cant trap bulge or rupture the drum which is so painful on the littles. You two are wonderful parents, Jack & Sunny are BLESSED to have landed in such a GOOD nest! 😊
