This episode was the epitome of kicking someone when they’re down. I really felt for Derik because he does really well at being vulnerable online and it seems like the others berate him for it. Derik has the humility of an angel and I hope the people around him start acknowledging his emotional intelligence ❤

Totally agree -I relate to Derick in a lot of ways, and the whole way through I was thinking how I would be so self conscious and would be analysing everything I said in the episode for a long time afterwards. He doesn’t deserve to be forced to retreat into his shell :( I absolutely love the 4 of them and I’m sure this issue is manifold because it’s a short snippet of their lives, but still couldn’t hurt to be a bit more in tune to how things like that could affect him ❤

YES, Yes, Yes. Sarah is very tough on Derik. I hope it was just a schtick on the podcast because otherwise Derik's life journey will be very harsh and sad, having the person closest to his heart be so critical and demeaning toward him.

Why were they criticizing everything Derek said? Like he was the only one I wanted to listen to because of how real he was being! Laughter is ok and healthy, but there comes a point where it can be used as a distraction from the real world and our inner feelings-which is what a podcast I would think should be more about. Derek obvi had some inner feelings he was trying to let out, which takes real guts! Love you Derek🫶🏻🙏🏼

Derik is a sweet, patient guy. He really loves his brother. It seems like Sarah joined the taunting Derik train on this episode. I couldn't treat my husband like that, privately and much less with family members. He wasn't even done explaining one question and she was already ready to jump down his throat. Poor guy.😢

Had to turn this off. If my spouse treated me the way Sarah treats Derik I would be heartbroken, I wouldn’t talk down to my worst enemy that way. This was grossly uncomfortable to watch. I think Derek was having a hard day. And I agree that Sarah should have honed in on that and been a little more sensitive. But honestly I don’t think any of them treated him any more different than any other times we’ve seen them together he was just a little on the serious side this time. Probably anxiety, he barely looked at the camera.

Oh poor Derik he went extremely quiet and seemed to be putting on a brave face from the middle to the end of the podcast. Only gave one or two words answers after that. They should be more aware of what they are saying can upset someone. And on a side note there seems to be something off with the Beeston bunch KZread videos recently. They don’t seem as happy and bubbly.

Actually, as somebody who functions and thinks a lot like Derek does. What they did, and how they reassured him was amazing. I understand and knew exactly when he got confused. You can tell it’s all good because they know him well enough and sensed that he needed clarity and reassurance. and then told him that he’s fine and everything is great. Which relaxed him to carry on.

Idk I hate to comment but I just couldn’t watch anymore. Sarah seems more interested in the brother than her own husband. Idk she gives me weird vibes like she rather be with the brother than her husband.

In my family the motto is, “We are only as fast as our slowest member” and that’s quite alright. The slowest member can be any one of us on any given day because we all have our hard days(our off days) but we cover for the one struggling to the point that nobody on the outside looking in knows who’s struggling today…. You all should have done that for Derek today. Clearly he was having a tough day! He had things to say but the interruptions were throwing him off. Ladies you have to dignify your guests! I know you guys are like 4 peas in a pod, and I love the bond you share. But you have to look out for each other and especially your mate. Over all great podcast and What the guys said about their wives were beautiful. I especially loved, loved, loved what Derek said about Sarah, it was the sweetest.❤

They tried so much to be cool and clever in this video and they became so toxic to Derik. Really cringe vibes.

I felt bad for Derik, too. I could not imagine them treating Tanner the way they do Derik in the group 🧐 It definetely comes across like he‘s the underdog of the bunch.

I just feel that Sarah’s not protecting Derek enough. She takes too many jabs and she’s low key speaking the truth - i don’t think they’re genuinely in a good place. Their connection to Tanner and Lo is what is keeping the marriage afloat. I hope Sarah gets counselling in trying to realign the respect for Derek as much as she has it towards Lo and Tanner. Sarah’s done with Derek’s bad luck but i think that the comment about the brothers definitely “not being made from the same cloth” was i think a true window of how she feels about it. She’s way too quick to compliment everyone else but Derek. Wishing them patience with one another and for them to have a genuinely honest conversation. Whenever Derek would say something, Sarah would either not care or ignore him but is all over what Tanner says and doesn’t miss a beat to what he’s saying. I don’t know whether he had enough of being there recording or not but there’s an exchange between Sarah and Tanner where she is far too playful with him and you can see Derek just literally staring at her in the most serious way and it’s sorta cringe ‘cause she doesn’t take notice because she barely looks at him. They were in their bubble with Sarah being the third wheel and i could just see Derek realising how fun, flirty and playful Sarah can still be. I don’t think that he’s necessarily jealous of her liking Tanner but i do think he’s taken notice of something. So Derek, if you read this: You’re not crazy!

Yes, I do think that the lad ies need to do a little bit of professionalism with talking over each other even. But certainly when there's guests because partly the reason you have gas is to hear them so they get excited because they just have their excited friend dynamic or friend and family dynamic. But yeah I think when they read these comments they'll see and I'd like to add that too that it would be more professional for them to be better listeners and less excited interrupting.

I know that nobody asked me the question but I will answer anyways :P What I admire the most about Derik is that he seems so humble and sensitive and has a lot of empathy, he seems to be a good spirit who would not do anything to harm another hooman intentionally. When it comes to Tanner, he seems very spiritual and just good as a person, he took the role of a father and a husband very seriously. Lo is such a giggly, funny person, but she is also so creative and inspiring. She has such a great sense of art, she creates beautiful memories in a very special way. I love her colour palette - the pastels, mermaid like shades etc - this is so inspiring. Sarah on the other hand is so empathetic and also sensitive. She is also very inspiring by the way she carries herself - she is so laid back and natural - she can look like a star or just show herself in some baggy sweatshirts - she has no problem with that and that is soo cool. You guys are very inspiring and I love your fam :-D You are my first vloggers that I actually watch and cannot wait for new episodes, I also never comment anything so look what you've done XD You guys have a such a COOL VIBE - all of you! :-D

Very nicely said. I agree. I love these guys both families. And I know people say they don't like family vloggers cuz they think they exploit their kids. But I'm just going to say it. I love watching The Littles. It brings me joy. I don't have them in my life and there's some of my favorite people so it derive a lot of pleasure from that. What I think is admirable about this podcast is how you can be reflective and as friends explore your behaviors, thoughts past and present, and to share the love the four of you have with one another another. I am now 65 years old and I have never experienced this type of friendship and love with any of our family friends. Maybe I am to reserved but I truly enjoy watching your four podcasts and see this friendship love in action. So many people just want to hate on other individuals that they can not be. May God continue to bless both your families and each other as you journey through this time and place. ❤❤

We do love the brothers being back on the podcast every now and then

Love these guys and this podcast, but this episode was hard to watch. I felt so bad for Derik and how he was treated- especially by his own wife 😢 Poor guy was just trying to speak and was constantly interrupted and laughed at.

Omg so cringe to watch 😢 it felt like highschool all over again poor derik you are okey ,in this episode the rest were very bullying it was hard to watch not fun

The Donkey video is what introduced me to you guys and I still say donkey that way now 😂

Derik and Tanner do not look like twins!

I’m never been big on family vlogs especially families that use their kids to make money. But these two families are so fun and honest and transparent and real. The fact that they share their lives with their kids but don’t exploit their kids is very wholesome. I love that you all show the good and the bad, I laugh so much watching the podcast but also love watching both their channels. And their kids are so precious. Nothing seems staged or fake. Keep being yourselves and spreading the love and positivity!

OMG, the things that Tanner and Derik admire the most about each other are SO SPOT ON!!! I also loved hearing about what you each know makes the other laugh and how well you all know each other. This was SUCH a great episode! We definitely need to hear from them regularly even if it's just monthly or quarterly!!!
