We confess... we threw shade at mums before we became mums 🙈. But, now we know better 😂. Tell us the truth... are you those people?

I have had my nanny for 7 years now since my son was born. When my son was 3 years old i had go do my Masters in the U.k for one year. She stayed with my son and my mother in law. 4 years later she is still here..and now helps me take care of my 2 kids. This year in Oct. I start my PhD and i plan to take her with me to the U.k. I wouldn't be able to do this without her. She is amazing.

READ THIS!! I remember a time we went shopping with my mum(juzi tu I was 25) and she saw a young mother struggling to shop with a very small baby. She walked to the lady and asked if she could take the baby from her and help carrying the child while I pushed the trolley for her. The mother accepted the help. She finished shopping and my mum asked her whether she had transport to where she was going, she didn't. My mum told her to get into her car and she drove her home. She got home safe with a sleeping baby and all her shopping intact(and mental health) ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ At the time I was like, Aih, why would you go out of your way for someone you don't know?? But I have since learnt how to extend grace to everyone not only mothers.

That's long. I hope she has grown and improved herself during that time.
How this channel doesn't have more than 500K subs is still a mystery to me. Women need to be sharing this right, left and center, it's informative af.
aki my child was so un easy and irritated on a flight yo! she ended up slapping my seat mate a very kind mzee thank GOD he encouraged and helped me calm her ju me nlikuwa nime give up yo!
🤣🤣When ivy talked about accents eh I love how her kids pronounce things... it's too cute😍😍😍

Looolz.. I'm not a parent yet so I can relate to the judgemental looks I give parents when their kids are misbehaving in public!
I once threw shade about my neighbour's son throwing our shoes off the common balcony. Now it's my one and a half son throwing off shoes and everything he comes across off the same balcony. I'm so humbled😂😂
The nanny comment is a no for me! I don’t have twins but I stopped counting. My attitude is that so long as the babies are growing it’s all good!!!!Ata kama ni siku tatu, they’ve grown
I know a mam who shamed a niece of mine because she has been raised speaking swahili and not English...she said "tumelea mtoto mshamba" Sema kuchoka aki
haha my sister has 3 boys between 3 months and 5 , she has this look she serves if they are been rowdy, it sends them all to the bedroom to sleep including the baby! first time I saw it even I almost went to sleep! it's a super mum look

I love those plugs. Aki when it started I was like...”What are those watches?” Thankyou ladies.
As for me and my house, as long as we close the day with no injuries and the little humans are still of decent morals, we did good. Tabia ikienda kombo, I discipline it out appropriately.
I always love Ivy's hairstyle. This video would be dedicated to mothers during mother's day. The part you talk about kid's tantrums in supermarkets, it's not just a mother's challenge but also a father's challenge. Generally, that is a challenge every parent faces.
I was also a shady person judging parents now, 9 months in and I am humbled
and shiko i love the new way youve done your hair
That plug segment I just died 😂😂😂😂 You ladies are awesome!
The nannies matter is indeed down to luck. Recall an acquaintance who had a nanny that had stayed 6 or so years and she used to wonder why others changed nannies every other month. But when her nanny left to pursue biz, she employed like 5 in the subsequent year. 🤦♂️🙆♂️

This babes have made me look forward to these motherhood chapters in my life. I am grateful for all your experiences to teach me to do better🥰
I could listen to Ives' kids speak all day ♥️❤️
We had a nanny that took absolute care of my niece for the first 7 years from cooking to hair making and everything in-between. Not just watching this...Mary Jacob (from Nigeria) anywhere you are, God bless you!
Love the conversation ladies.... Good job. I agree, "How can I help?" is such a freeing and healing question... So needed.

You guys, i feel like i just hard a mommy time with fellow moms at the playgroup, i envy you mamas that you get to catch up and talk this things out but am grateful that you have created this platform so that people like us can feel included too. Being a mom abroad is the hardest thing i have yet encountered.
Dang! This episode deserves a two thumbs up from me. I have watched numerous over 25 episodes but this is epic. How you both brought up the watch story was so dope😂Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, Ivy and Shiky are by far my favourite on over 25❤. Lots of love to you both. Wish I could like this video every time I watch it😂
Mum shaming (which falls under bullying), projecting, unsolicited advice is so unnecessary. Most parents are doing all the can and more, and even then, it is none of your business. To the trolls - Stay in your lane! Deal with you and what triggers you to behave in such an inappropriate, self seeking, un-empathetic, negative and deconstructive way towards a mother on a parenting journey that is already so complex and extensive. You are the problem! Come correct.

Ivy sipping her drink😂😂😂 Y'all are so real❤️
This was soo timely, indeed fees structure humbles you(thought we had not saved enough) so encouraging am not alot and parenting is soo humbling🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌soooo AUTHENTIC lalways glued here!
Lovely topic. Recently became a step-mom and one thing we struggled with was poty training. She started at 2 and a half year old and she's getting the hang of it. Clothes wise I fail big time as I always get bigger sizes 🙃.
I luuuuvvd this!!!Mummies absolutely need this corner....Yes...to being humbled as a parent especially on those torn stockings (knee area), peddlepushified pyjamas and the school fees struggles! Another truth... initially I could never understand why kids sometimes don't respond to greetings from grown ups until mine got there. Even getting them to say hi is a task at times...Now I know that the behaviour has nothing to do with the parent.
Motherhood humbles you very much, I remember saying I am never ever going to take my kids to a boarding school, wueh, kumbe this time was to come and allow my son to board. Woi. Motherhood humbles u.
oww guys about makamasi I was walking with my baby and a woman went telling my husband that ive been walking with my kid full of makamasi guys she was having a cold I kept wiping it and when i forgot only for second it just dripped uncontrollably...gosh I was heart broken
YEEEESSSS!!! You guys are helping Mums and THAT is God's work!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Totally relatable as an aunt and now as a new mum esp makamasi and sleep training and crying without knowing the cause. I used to wonder why parents will not soothe their crying infants. Now i understand that sometimes its colic and there is nothing you can do. I was a shady person. I now understand so much and everyday my baby teaches me patience, grace and being a student of life
I just love u shiko...and i also love the two of u together
I dont have kids but the millions of kids that I have babysat and taken to doctor appointments have REALLY HUMBLED me. I already feel like a parent
Not a mum yet, but you mums are just preparing me for a change😍😍 ....really love this channel

This was such a cool video. Motherhood is not easy. I related on all levels. Children teach you so much about yourself...kwanza patience....There are times I just do bare minimum...I'm like..."Is she breathing? " Then we cool!
This has been so refreshing!

Another mischief that parents have to deal with and I think use to be this type of child. My late mother narrated this to me a while back and I couldn't remember it. I guess I was too young to remember this. I would put a piece of green pea(minji) inside my nostril unknowingly the pea would gut stuck in my nose. Every time I cough or sneeze you would hear a sound of some solid stuff jumping inside my nose. Personally, I would feel uncomfortable and I would cry. My mother notices this and she offers to take me to hospital. When we got to hospital, thank God the doctor removed the pea that was stuck inside my nose.
you guys are making my day end well 😅😂
Niice one... Grateful for my parents
Fee structure at kitengela International... Ask for the transport charges😂you will think you're buying a bus from Dt dobie
