Equality is not wanting to be identical but wanting a state of having equal political, social, economic rights (right to vote, to fair trial, to education, to own property/enter legal contracts, to hold public office, to fair wages). Chivalry (wanting your door opened is like wanting to wear a scarf) is a matter of personal preference, i.e., neither here nor there matters gender equality. Whenever you are confused about what gender equality comprises, think of the other "forms of equality", such as racial equality, and what exactly those of minority race(s) (encompassing all genders) mean when they seek racial equality, they are not seeking to be whites. Or when persons with disabilities push for equality, etc.

Disrespect = lack of due regard. Any time someone doesn't give you (or you don't give) due regard its straight up disrespect. The standard for respect is so high that it requires humility to fully give it. And disrespect is not a petty offence. One act is enough to give you enough information to let you know who are dealing with. Also goes hand in hand with forgiveness/grace because ego always looks out for no.1. in which case how would due regard be given to anyone if you're the most important character? According to Google, mansplaining is the ''explanation of something by a man, typically to a woman, in a manner regarded as condescending or patronizing.'' When men explain a concept to a woman the same way they would talk to a child because they think you are not able to comprehend the 'complex' details. It mostly happens in the work place for example, they are both competent and certified financial modelers but the man will explain a concept to the woman peer like he is talking to a child.

I looove Jules' braids. Do them more often.
It's not really disrespectful if you disrespect someone for disrespecting you. It's just reciprocation. What you give is what you receive. It's not even about revenge
South Africa is here ❤😊😘
We need a part 2 please ladies🤣😂
wow..this was such a great topic.
I'm looking for that link that Jules said she'll add on the description below.
You babes have triggered me from here to Timbuktu. 😩 My then hubby brought home his side babe when he thought I was at my parents. Side babe walked in first and welcomed me into my matrimonial home. 🥴 I was speechless.
Lakini Julia umekapitia 😂😂😂

Did Jules just say ''he feeds me''😂😂
I am doing my MBA in Finance. But every once in a while, some guy who doesn't work in field or hasn't gone to school for it will try to mansplain basic Finance to me. I'm sure they wouldn't do it if I we're a guy.

@@honeststranger1070 the act of explaining something to someone in a way that suggests that they are stupid; used especially when a man explains something to a woman that she already understands. It's often rooted in the assumption that a man is likely to be more knowledgeable than a woman.

Going for equality is where we go wrong. Equity is what we should be going for.( fairness)
I feel its so disrespectful to announce other people's news ,like success or even failures without their permission or before they do. like we've seen alot of people sharing something like pregnancy news ,miscarriage or promotion or even new business news before the owner. RESPECT PRIVACY, .u never know what one is going through to come to terms with the situation or news.
Not keeping time is disrespectful
I had missed the energy like that of the last 2 minutes
I don't take gizzard and I can't take kuku kienyeji thigh. They were and are still dad's parts. You know the way some foods are not in your taste pallet and you have to learn, that's me with gizzards. 😂
Can you please guys bring in pumla as a guest from bump love uganda you girls would blend together lots
That was such an interesting episode/show.
Equity > Equality for me.
I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed it! I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed it!
I keep talking to myself everytime am on the road. My mum keeps telling me to be nice and calm. It's annoying and disrespectful for people to drive like they are the only ones on the road.

0:33 to 0:39 is the reason why divorce should be normalized; people act like am crazy for saying this but that's one disrespectful circumstance that nobody should have to go through
You guys are looking glaaaaaaam
Ladies, you look so lovely...I wish you could show us the outfits.
Lack of Regard** for other people.

On an unrelated note, how did the name Miss Tiramisu come about?
Its beyond ok to disrespect a disrespectful person. Ok not right😅.
