Hi over25! A therapist here and I thought I would answer that last question of what to replace the intrusive thoughts with 😄. Answer with what the facts are or counter the negative thought with an alternative positive approach. For example "what if I fail?" - Fact: "I won't know if I don't do it" , or "I have not done this before so there is no proof that I will fail". Or an alternative approach to that would be "what if I succeed?" Another way to approach it is to ask yourself what your biggest fear is if that intrusive thought actually happens. Same example - what if I fail? - ask yourself "what's the worst thing that would happen if I fail?" I hope that helps.

Most of the time, as humans we project our insecurities to others in the name of opinions. What someone says to you says more about them than you. People tend to be repulsive to what they don't resonate with.

Am an Ivy anyday

Jules is too confused.She still doesn't know herself. It will be curious to see how she evolves with time. I wonder if this same contradiction in communicating her needs bleeds into other aspects of her daily life and relationships whether it's work, art life, etc....I only say that because she says she wants a certain type of man but has opened up about dating the complete opposite of that...Happy Discovery Jules :).
