Turhan might be cold to some extent out of nessesety but she is far from coldhearted

It seems Humasha skipped basic Ottoman Empire history classes because everyone and their grandmother knows when a new Sultan rises ALL other heirs are killed by default also the Valide can even order the death of previous Favourites or banish them from Ottoman Empire lands , I don’t like her but Turhan showed great mercy and even protects her stepsons in the future from her son or rogue council members

@@jasonadersonwedion9874 you think valide sultan would let Turhan end them? Turhan could do nothing to them, only to the hasekis. Turhan is not valide sultan yet even if she's mother of mehmed

Humashah your concerns are understandable. But Turhan Sultan will attend to each prince's needs. She is not merciless. You can see on her face that she does understand Humashah's concerns and it is true the prince is still a baby. While Kosem will be the first to order Mehmed's ex*cution when he becomes a threat. Unbelievable!!!
"But he is not like Sultan Mustafa". Yes I confirm dear he is FAR worst than him. For the good of all, keep him far to all. In history Kosem allowed all the concubines of Ibrahim to stay with theirs sons ( except Humasah) in the palace and they were not in the Kafes ( until Turhan rise even if there were a reason). It seems that Kosem paid the high price for stopping this horrible fratricidal law ( even if Handan do this before and Turhan suceed to do this) but she was unable to stop the Kafe which was a true problem.

Both of them were valide sultan. Kösem as senior valide and Turhan as junior valide.

Actually, Turhan was Valide Sultan being the mother of Sultan Mehmed. Kösem Sultan was classed as Büyük Valide Sultan which means Grandmother Sultan. So yes, Turhan Sultan was Valide Sultan and Kösem Sultan was also Valide Sultan. One just means she’s the actual mother of Sultan Mehmed and the other means she is the grandmother of Sultan Mehmed 😊 enjoy the rest of your day! 😊

No, only Humasah was the legal wife of Sultan Ibrahim but Turhan was the most powerfull than all the other Haseki Sultana because she was the valide sultana of her son Sultan Mehmet

Thankfully emetullah sultan will protect the other princes and mehmed too, the true successor of the great valide sultan. Let's not forget emetullah as haseki had more influence than Turhan and it's a known fact, everyone knows what influence she had on mehmed.

@@loganmcallen9067 emetullah is infact in the sultanate of women but wiki doesn't mention her, not sure why. Emetullah Rabia gulnus is the last member. She was similar to kosem sultan so turhan feared her and maintained good relationship with her. Emetullah decided which concubine goes to hasoda, emetullah intervened many times in politics because the grand vizier koprulu and later Mustafa didn't let Turhan approach it and mehmed always listened to his haseki, always. The chief agha of harem allied with emetullah and some say that turhan had enough of this behavior at some point and that Rabia ended her but there is no proof.
