I feel like since Aqua reveal to Ruby that he is Gorou, When Aqua does something that relates to Ruby she probably thinks that Aqua did it for her but Aqua didn’t, he did it for something else that we don’t know yet. I feel like Aqua brought Ichigo back because so they can discuss the revenge plan more better but who knows.

I think you're right about the light eye being because of Ruby. Before all this happened it was his other eye that was shining, but now it's the same eye as Ruby, while 'his' eye is still black. I am surprised it's even possible to have one of each though, since everyone else has always had one or the other. That definitely means the eyes represent more than we thought they did.

Judging by the location and the crow near him, I assume Aqua is meeting with Crow Girl, so I'm curious to see why he's doing that too, since we still don't really know what her game is.

Honestly, Ruby’s my favorite character. But her attitude lately has been… interesting. I’m just hoping it can improve. It feels like she went from one extreme to another. Like she can’t let go of Aqua because she feels like he’s all she has. Hopefully that developed her character better. I hope it doesn’t stay like this though.

She's was reincarnated with the mind of a former child with barely any life experiences. Her perception of reality is that of her previous self that never got adjusted post reincarnation.

The amount of copium here is insane. People can’t explain their special bond so instead they say it’s father-daughter relationship (even though Gorou was young - less than 30 yo - and he also had issues with not having a mother). And if Sarina wanted a parental figure, there’s Miyako… she’s not here for nothing. Why can’t Sarina and Gorou just be the best friends of the world? Gorou said Sarina is the girl who changed her life and give him a reason to live for himself, thanks to his passion (being a fan of Ai, like Sarina). They both shared the same love for Ai, and she was their link. I’ll make some copium too and say that Aqua sees Kana / Akane as their daughters too, since he’s mentally 50 yo 🤦‍♂️

It is not as black and white as you describe it. Aqua is Aqua and he is not Gorou anymore. He already stated that he lost a lot of his memories of his early childhood. Also that the development of his new body has a major influence in his thought process. He has shattered pieces of his old mind, but nothing more. His personality is also related to his physical age. Besides his eager willingness of revenge is something that he got through his DNA (his father has also strong revenge feelings).

Ruby's metamorphosis into a full-blown brocon has been a wonder to behold. Girl really ate her words accusing her brother of being a siscon. Now? She wants him to eat her.

That's not it- revenge or life. In fact, before getting back into revenge it really didn't look like he was going to give his life up for it. Yes, he wanted revenge, but not at the cost of his life. THAT has changed. So I think the question here is not if he wants revenge, more so in what way- giving his life up for it or nah. In ch 9, we see him having his normal one white star in his right eye, signifying that he is probably not giving up on his life afterall.

She's also focusing on aqua, but she's trying to stop him and is actively challenging his destructive nature- things that need to be addressed right now. I'm hyped for her comeback in the manga and am completely invested in what she's about to do. While Ruby is focusing on him in a way none of us want to see rn (obviously excluding the aquruby shippers).

Do people that think that Gorou/Aqua and Sarina/Ruby relationship is like that of parent and child even know how to do subtraction? Because Gorou was only 12 yo when Sarina was born. Also, he was just an young adult and she almost a teenager when they met. Not like he can't act fatherly in a way, but he never had the tools to provide proper parental care for a child that is only 10-12 years younger than him. To be honest, Gorou/Aqua is as much as obsessed over Sarina/Ruby as the other way around. The difference here is that Aqua doesn't want to "tarnish" the ideals of romance he grew up with and fool himself into thinking that he's actually in love with Ruby, whereas Ruby simply assumed this to be an acceptable way of romancing ever since back then as Sarina, and fueled the "fantasy". But what is real, and what is fake? This has been brought not only by these two, but also by some other characters, including Ai and Akane. What sets apart love, interest, desire and obsession, if not intensity and rationality? Provided obsessing over someone is mentally unhealthy, can you really say, all the times, that the one obsessing doesn't harbor some sort of genuine feelings for the other? And supposing both parts feel the same, is it the best course of action to forcefuly set them apart, no questions asked?
