What a chapter. We got the weird twincest thingy going on with Ruby being all clingy and flirty with Aqua and on the other side we get some Miyako scenes which I really enjoy. Seeing Miyako care for Aqua and Ruby so much that it causes her to cry is some good character development imo. Great chapter. I enjoyed the Kana and Memcho stuff too.

Aqua doesn’t seem too interested in his sister, thank the revenge. Because if he didn’t experience his mothers death, he’d give in to his sister at some point like a normal “romcom” dude.

I was re-reading early chapters recently and damn,foreshadowing is heavy to the point if Aqua and Ruby goes AkiSora route,I would not be surprised at all. In chapter 3,Aqua and Ruby presents them selfs to Miyako as Amateratsu and Tsukoyomi,Japanese deities that were,as in basically all of polytheism fashion,both a siblings and a couple. And it's a running joke at this point that Aqua has sister complex,despite that not being the case(he has an Oedipus complex,not that it's any better)

Honestly aside from the obvious joke at the first part of the chapter Ruby and Aqua have a pretty normal sibling relationship right now. With Ruby being pretty clingy but my sister can be clingy with me too so I think it's a very normal thing. Just seeing Ruby happy is already good for me.

So basically I’m still confused. The twins; Aqua and Ruby, are still considered sixteen years of age since a couple chapters ago. If Kana is considered to be graduating and was planning to keep being part of the new B Komachi and almost getting replaced when Ruby was still in the mindset of revenge. Kana would be considered being 18 so the twins would be 17. So here the kicker about the author; Aka Akasaka, hasn’t fixed the age of the twins or it got lost in translation somewhere. This would be a hypothetical theory, of this all being Doctor Gorou Amamiya, or Sarina Tendoji were in some kind of dream theory of playing the roles of the twins Ai Hoshino gives birth later on. Maybe if that’s how Oshi No Ko ends the Alabama memes or fan fictions going on shipping the Aqua and Ruby. One big uno reverse card almost similar to the newest chapters title “Reversal” and who really knows we have to stick around until the manga is over. So this is a speculation about how it may end but not entirely certain how the author intends to end it. From questions to theory this is by far the longest comment I think I’ve ever written.

Another thing I’d like to mention was after the first ten chapters of Oshi No Ko it was about ten years since Ai died. Then we read on that twelve years had passed since Ai’s death, and later on it said fourteen years since her death. Still the twins wouldn’t be considered to be sixteen at this point. Yes then there the videos for Ruby and Aqua once they turned fifteen. This can be theorized that from the anime that the video we watched was for Ruby while we still don’t know what Aqua’s video has on it. Although we don’t know exactly when they turned fifteen because episode two of the anime has them at the age of fourteen and later on while Aqua is acting for “LoveNow” there’s a scene in the episode about the ages of each character and we have Aqua being sixteen during this time. This is just more speculation on my part trying to understand what is going on with Oshi No Ko’s story and how this will end for the fans supporting the Ruby x Aqua shippers and Aqua being in a relationship with any other girl that isn’t Ruby: like Kana x Aqua or Akane x Aqua.

I got scared asf when I saw the bar, I got flashbacks to hikaru and yura and how he killed her after the bar, granted she had the eyes, but I thought we would see him and some sort of death flag would be placed on miyako

A lot of progression for Ruby and Aqua's sibling relationship is getting a little bit better but a lot of character development for Miyako poor girl is trying her best to do what's right for Aqua and Ruby and sometimes being a parent is a thankless job and even though they're not blood related she's doing the best she can for them she's one hell of a mom that's for sure.🥲 But yeah major W for chapter 124.🙂👍

I truly believe that the tension between Aqua and Ruby will chill down slowly. Right now, they are just extremely overwhelmed by the fact of who they had been, and they have been together all the time, not knowing that. Having Ichigo back would make the team complete again, even if it may take some time for Miyako and him to find the right way with each other again.

It’s good to see that Miyako gets a lot more screen time and depth, and Ichigo comes back! I wonder if Ichigo’s going to come back, or at least help Miyako. Best of luck 🍀 Yea, also, hopefully Kana can recover after what she saw this chapter 🤍🤍

Ok so, first thing. The incest idea is scary but… some part of me is still holding out hope. Ruby is in love with Goro, who reincarnated into Aqua, but the thing is… Aqua himself talked about feeling disconnected from his past life during the baseball tossing with Kana. Also, I kind of think Ruby is mostly clinging to the idea of the one person who gave a shit about her in her last life, and maybe she’s starting to revert more into Sarina. Maybe Ruby will start to see Aqua as too different from Goro? Maybe Aqua will interject, cause honestly it’s hard to read how he feels about it? Who knows. Second thing, I think it’d be cool if that bar was a place Ichigo and Miyako met, an important date spot or a place ichigo showed her so she wouldn’t be too stressed when she was manager. Probably not but I think it’d be cool to have more of a connection then “woah, what a coincidence,” tho this manga is full of those
