** I would just caution the english audience/readers that the 'The clear Quran' compilation in english -like several other compilations contain anthropomorphic type errors in their assigned meanings, such as surah Al-A'raf w.r.t aboveness/direction -which is contrary to the core belief. Note that space, time and direction/dimensions does NOT apply to the Creator, it applies to the creation only. Seeks knowledge until the matter is crystal clear and no ambiguity is left.

Brother Paul and I have much more in common than I thought. I used to be a hardcore Wahhabi and Madkhali to some extent thanks to gulf-sponsored youtube celebrities. It was my study of Sufi that gave me a new innings in Islam. However, just like brother Paul I am pro-Salafi in some aspects and pro-sufi in others while rejecting some sufi practices and rejecting salafi interpretations and Madkhali boot-licking. I too want the Khilafa to come back as it was always

A beautiful interview between Dr. Shadee and sir Paul Williams. I discovered blogging theology about a couple of years ago, I can't exactly remember which was the first video I ever saw of Sir Paul Williams, but it definitely intrigued me and then I guess I didn't see him in quite some time until very recently this year again. I also discovered Dr. Shadee by watching one of the deen show episodes where he was invited by brother Eddie to speak on the Israel Palestine conflict in response to PBD's video about history of Hamas and Hezbollah etc. I honestly did not know myself about the Irgun and the Hagana, and the tantura incident which was covered in that interview. So, Alhumdulillah for bringing us this knowledge and spreading it freely to not just the ummah but other viewers as well who can get educated on Islam and make up their minds to see fact from fiction. God bless you all. Really looking forward to gaining more insight by studying these great yet humble individuals.

Salaam Alaikum Have you read: The eternal message of Muhammad - Abd Al-Rahman Azzam. As Vincent Sheean points out in his introduction, 'In Damascus as well as in Djakarta, Istanbul and Baghdad, this man is known for valour of spirit and elevation of mind...He combines in the best Islamic mode, the aspects of thought and action, like the Muslim warriors of another time who are typified for us Westerners by the figure of Saladin.' Malcolm X's reading of The Eternal Message of Muhammad and his meeting with Azzam Pasha are vividly recounted in his Autobiography. It is clear that these events marked the point in his life at which Malcolm X turned towards orthodox traditional Islam.

Paul mentioned Mark 13:30, i believe this was taken from the dead sea scroll a community 150-100 years before Jesus believed in a righteous teacher who they themselves said that generation shall not pass till all these things happen and so many things too you find in the gospels was clearly taken from this community and the author put on the lips of Jesus

Help the people of the world. Why don't you describe the GOD of the BIBLE (JEHOVAH, YAHWEH, ELOHIM) and then the god of the Quran (Allah)? No figure of speech. No metaphors. No names (that can be contrived), no attributes (that can be concocted), no history (that is faked), etc, etc, etc. Describe GOD. No mess, no fuss, no yada yada yada. I won't do it, (and I can,) you do it. Oh, almost forgot. Give text name and verse number/s and/or Sura/Surat/Surah? ?

What is the point of answering someone who references a fictitious name of GOD and pretends to know the true pronunciation of יהוה when the observant Hebrews believed it to be too holy to pronounce long before Jesus' time? Observant Jews typically pronounce it as "adonai" and purposely placed vowel markings from אדני ["adonai"] on יהוה to remind the reader to pronounce "adonai" in its place. Excerpt from Biblical scholar Sir Godfrey Rolles Driver CBE MC FBA (b.1892 d.1975) who was a son of a notable Biblical scholar Samuel Rolles Driver (b.1846 d.1914) : " One such substitution calls for special notice as affecting the divine name. This, written YHWH, was normally replaced by 'God' or 'Lord' as too sacred for common use (Exodus 20.7 and Leviticus 24.16), being uttered only by the priest in the temple giving the priestly benediction (Numbers 6.24-27). The true pronunciation was already passing into oblivion before A.D. 70; but Christian writers between A.D. 150 and A.D. 450 have Yaouai and Yabe (Yave) in Greek characters, and early magical texts have Yhbyh (Yahveh) in Aramaic characters, all pointing to Yahweh as the original pronunciation. The Massoretes, however, never vocalized the divine name as Yahweh; instead, to the consonants YHWH they added the vowels of adonay, 'my Lord' (replacing a by e as required by Hebrew phonetic laws), or of elohim, 'God', thus warning the reader to use one or other of these words in place of the divine name; and the early translators generally substituted 'Lord' for it. The Massoretes, however, did not intend the vowels of either of these words to be attached to the consonants of the divine name as though it was Yehowah or Yehowih, both grammatically impossible and meaningless forms; this uncouth combination, written Ieoa in Greek letters in Hellenistic magical texts, did not become effective until Yehova or Jehova or Johova appeared in two Latin works dated in A.D. 1278 and A.D. 1303; the shortened Jova (declined like a Latin noun) came into use in the sixteenth century. The Reformers preferred Jehovah, which first appeared as Iehouah in A.D. 1530 in Tyndale's translation of the Pentateuch (Exodus 6.3), from which it passed into other Protestant Bibles. The present translators have retained the incorrect but now customary 'JEHOVAH' in the text of passages where it is explained in a note (Exodus 3.15 and 6.3; cp. Genesis 4.26) and in four place-names (Genesis 22.14, Exodus 17.15, Judges 6.24, Ezekiel 48.35); elsewhere they have put 'LORD' or 'GOD' in capital letters. "

To all so-called Salafi's who claim to follow the first three generations, ask them about "Uways al-Qarni", known as one of the if not the best among the Tabi'iin. How did he get teachings from our prophet s.a.w even though he was not in the prophet's presence? How did he become Muslim even though he never saw our prophet in real life, despite living in the same era? Learn about mysticism (tasawwuf) and its existence during the time of the Salaf. Claiming you ara a Salaf doesn't make you one...modern-day Khariji's.
