Inside Scotland's Gangs

Called by medias as the most notorious crime families in Scotland. Lyons and Daniels are two gangs based in Glasgow. The Lyons vs Daniels feud is ongoing for 2 decades which shook Scottish city. At the same time, Scotland continues to have by far the highest drug death rate recorded by any country in Europe.
The Lyons collaborate with the notorious Irish Kinahan cartel to provide high quality drugs but also to wash the money in the Scottish economy, while Daniels are connected to the Richardson’s criminal organization, seen as the most sophisticated gang in the country. It explains also the role of the fugitive Gillespies brothers who were linked to the assassination of a crime journalist Martin Kok in the Netherlands and are linked to the team of powerful Ridouan Taghi from Mocro Maffia.

Good video, a couple of points: 1. The shooting of the Lyons at their garage actually had a long backstory which was worth covering here linked to Gerbil and his "alien abduction squad" who would dress up as police and kidnap dealers, torturing them for drugs and guns. Eventually Gerbil was shot due to this, and the garage shooting was a retaliation while Gerbil was in hospital. The sentence given for the garage shooting at the time was one of the longest in Scottish court history. *EDIT* 2. A loosely connected event worth mentioning which ties in to some topics in this video was the death of Bradley Welsh, a famous boxer and actor from Edinburgh who was killed by a hitman using an old shotgun at point-blank range, this murder was one of the most high profile in Edinburgh and even Scotland - and the trial and story around it is crazy. It's linked to the Lyons Daniels feud through Mark Richardson who you mention in this video and a guy known as Dode Baigrie who has since been arrested in relation to the tesco attempted murder you mention. 3. It's Bonzo Daniel, not Bozo as the narrator repeatedly said 🤣 Otherwise great video and I think lots of room for related or followup videos, like some of the Edinburgh drug wars, or the Marengo trial in The Netherlands which is also absolutely insane! 👍👍

The cartel has major contacts in every city in England. Kinahan sr was in Birmingham overseeing the Uk originally before Bomber Kavanagh (his right hand)took over, then the Byrnes after Bombers arrest. Like Mulvey in Birmingham, they had locals in Liverpool, Newcastle, Sheffield etc and worked with them rather than just supplying a product. They pretty much worked for the cartel and ones with potential would be moved to Spain to work directly. Trouble in one city and the cartel would seek help from people in another to help out or clean up to assist their men. There are lots of examples of the most serious crimes in English cities acted out by the cartel and other gangs being called in to help from other side of the country. Dig deep and you’ll find what the police can’t be bothered to.

Police in Scotland are massively corrupt. Corruption in general is a thousand times worse in Scotland compared to Wales or England. Everything from Holyrood is a scam these days, its actually shocking how many laws they get away with breaking on a daily basis all because the SNP fully control the courts and justice system in Scotland.

There's a whole world in Scotland you only see if you come from a rough area and know the right people. All these news stories about gang warfare with barely a conviction while half of the scheme knows everything that happened. You would be shocked at the level of control and safety gang members have in their areas. Police don't patrol these places out of fear of assault tbh. There are plenty of places where the entire community despises police and would never ever talk to them. And no amount of policing will work btw. The only way you get rid of organised crime is to life the impoverished areas out of the hole and start building a better community outreach with police.
