INDIAN CLUBS | Persian Meel Swing Variations
In the stop-start arm-pit swing, the right arm swings and stops, the left arm swings and stops, and both arms swing together and stop, then repeat. In the continuous version, both arms swing in a synchronous or asynchronous format.
Foot stepping rotates in the classic Persian Meel four-count swing, allowing each club to swing in a straight line behind the body. The clubs are swung one at a time.
The shoulders rotate in the classic Meel two-count swing, allowing each club to swing in a straight line behind the body, engaging both clubs.
The back shoulder circles are non-standard at the end of the video and are simply fun to swing.

    I like to swing 10-minute sets with the mace because it provides fantastic cardio. The weight of the mace increases threefold during a swing due to gravitational pull. I also lift kettlebells with the swing, clean, and military press and consider this a strength-building exercise. So to answer your question, I practice both disciplines.
