Sorry about your Grandmother, take care. I have been traditional hunting for 50 plus years and like your thought process.

My first deer stood 10ft from me, with his nose bumping a scent wick I hung from a sapling in front of my blind (a Bass Pro Dog House Blind). He was a spike, but wow, that was an exciting hunt. Double lung, he ran 30 yards. Your videos are awesome Tex... you WILL break that curse.

Quality rant man, absolute top quality. And my first arrows were xx75's as well, platinums with plastic vanes. They are unusably short for me now (and pretty bent to be honest). All the very best Tex.

I was fortunate to hunt ground growing up that had many deer. I never had to use scents or any other products to harvest deer.

Tex, We love ya buddy. I am so damn sick of the "professional" tv hunters and their infomercials. They've bastardized hunting and it makes me wanna puke. Like you, I bought in to all their bullsh** gimmickry at first and made somebody rich. No more over priced picture camo, I'll make my own. Now it's minimalistic with no widgits and gizmos galore. Hunt where I can, when I can, MY WAY and no longer support the "professionals" so they can go on the fake hunts with fenced in animals. Don't stop ranting because you're speaking for way more hunters like you than them. You're real! Stay real! Keep going, there's more season left. Short blood trails to you.

My condolences to you and your family Tex. My only advice on hunting is to enjoy your time in the woods.

I hope your grandmother is comfortable and surrounded by loved ones. She's more important than hunting or YT fame. Family is all we have.

One pin ! Absolutely! Twenty yards is the only range I will hunt At contrary to what people say I believe that arrow has lost way too much energy after that range.

Also if u watch slo mo video of any deer shot with an arrow they’re always moving before the arrow actually gets to them. Your playing with fire after 20 and really playing with fire past 30 when ur talking about the paranoid schizophrenic animal that is the whitetail deer!

I'm guessing you didn't drink the blood of your first kill. The old timers forgot to mention that to you I'm assuming.

You get up, you go out, you come home empty handed. That's why they call it "hunting" and not "killing". Hang in there Tex. It'll happen.
