Tex its good to see you back and most of us have been waiting for the archery season from you. No matter what anybody says owe all love it! Thank you Tex for another season....
Good to see you in the tree stand again Tex 🙂
Glad to hear you don't plan on quitting. I truly enjoy your content. Hang in there man.
You are King Tex 👍🔥 Godspeed, from cold north Sweden
Good to see you online still...and forever.
Wisdom beyond your years Tex! I like your ‘down to earth’ approach, keep up the great work Tex. One season in one episode leaves me wanting more though, anyway… Cheers mate.
Hi Tex, I have been watching you for many years. Not looking for professional polished stuff. But enjoy looking at a weird dude doing things he loves. Loving your passion, stubbornes and drive. Live the authenticity and even the fuckups. You even taught me useful things about archery that I picket up 7 years ago in a country I will never hunt. Don't stop, don't change. And all the best to the patient in you family.
Bro, i watched your $100 recurve bo w and i was laughing my ass off the whole time. Stoked to see some more of your stuff
Prayers Tex.

you know you been around here for a real long time. No, I still haven't created a steel plated bullet proof couch.
Ahhh…. We’ve been waiting for your hunting video! Really nice to see you back Tex! Sorry you didn’t break the whitetail curse. But hey, that’s life. There’s always next season. You mentioned that you’re dealing with some cancer in the family. I’m so sorry to hear this. Thoughts and prayers to all of you. 🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻
Wise words tex
Hey Tex, I've been anxiously waiting for this video and super glad to see it. I've really missed watching on a regular basis but sad to hear you have other things going on right now. I sure hope everything turns out ok for ya! Take care and thank you for the video!
We all know that in Illinois you're passing up all the 140's waiting for a big one to show up... Funny how we start the season looking for a trophy buck, then by the end of the season, we can't buy a doe. I noticed the cold weather clothing and shooting the bow dilemma with a thicker pair of gloves. I was consistently shooting several inches high and left. Then it dawned on my that my thicker cold weather glove was pushing my anchor slightly low and slightly right.
Your back !!!!!! Yessssssss!!!!
Good to see you again Tex.
I appreciate your persistence with KZread, I can see how it can get old doing all the work that goes along with making content… I have always enjoyed your content, we’ll keep watching if you keep posting!
Awesome video loved it!! Really want to see some bank bow fishing this year that's always fun to watch. Thanks for the entertainment!!!!
I'm a really good shot.... ON FOAM!! That was hilarious!! Go get em text at least you're out there enjoying the woods buddy! I just love being out there. BTW bitchin spear throw at the end. You nailed it, dead on bullseye!!
Thanks for what you do brother - stay strong
Hey I think you're doing a great job. You're that everyday guy that is doing his best and share the struggle that most people face. You've shared things that most people wouldn't but you've remained honest and transparent for the years that I've followed you. You always are good for a laugh and some good information for the beginner to the seasoned outdoors man. I think that what makes you so relatable. Want a shirt logo, how about "TGO keeping it real" keep up the good work and know you can only do what you can do man. Thanks for the time you've spent honing your craft for us all to see.
Don't feel bad. Whitetail curse hit me. 5 misses from ground blind. Thanks for the video!!
If you ever get near Memphis during deer season I'd be glad to put you on some deer. My first season I didn't get a thing! Drove me nuts! Enjoy the videos, keep them coming!
I think you're doing a great job.
Just checking in TEX hope everything is going OK
I understand the frustration
I’m glad you didn’t drag this out. I love your show.
Tex I'm not criticizing you just offering something that helped me. Anyway I started using cedar wood essential oil spray as a cover scent due to it being natural and I can make it at home in a pinch and the second thing I started doing was leaving my camos out in wind to air em out because I've never found a detergent to wash them with that I can use behind the normal kind that completely erases the scent of both me and the normal detergent
I enjoy your great voice, storytelling ability and honesty.
Tex i just want to let you know youve inspired me to get into traditional archery and im sure as hell im gonna take a trip on the webiste 3 rivers archery to go buy me a bow and equipment im gonna put my compound bow down for turkeys and use traditional archery for deer “only deer”
Dang no deer again. Oh well hope your family is good man.
Enjoyed it! Much respect for your commitment
archery season is two weeks before guns. And that's it unless you are a native
Hi Tex, thnx for this upload I was very curious whether you had been able to break the curse as I ‘m following you for several years now. Some comments on your narrative. I do not think that your followers expect material which is over produced and made by a whole production team. We, at least I do, follow your channel for it’s authenticity and I love how you give insight in your way of live. Do not worry about the people who make negative remarks. It is so easy to troll. If they can do better they should start their own channel. About interacting: Just react on the comments, that is digitally save and your followers will certainly appreciate it. By the looks of the comments you certainly have good followers. I wish you and your family strength and a good health.
Glad to see the new hunting video tex
Inspirational you truly touch peoples lives with your knowledge and kindness … Most times the Truth hurts it will break you or make you that much more stronger…. Stay safe and blessed brother… I look forward to many more of your videos… Aloha…💯🤙🏽
Tex - couple a things 1 - if something doesn’t work for you stop doing it 2 - when a method or tactic works do it again 3 - never (almost never) hunt the same stand twice 4 - it is Way more important to put your time in on stand October 20 to November 20 than it is to do late season hunts 5 - pay attention it’s cool to have opinions on bows broadheads whatever but it is time for some results pay n shoots don’t count. Yes you can eat them but they still don’t count 6 - stick bow hunting is hard but it is basic in the hard work, paying attention and putting the time in will result in success 7 - Illinois is one of the easier states to hunt. AG. Lots of deer. Low gun pressure. No rifles! Come on man Good Hunting and Good Luck <
Hope to see you down at the ditch this year in woodford county! Don't ever quit man.
Tex you got to change tactics if your struggling to see and kill deer. Hunting the same spot over and over is a common mistake. Get mobile and find the deer sign, then set up a ambush on their exit routes from bedding to food. Let me know if you want a scouting partner this off season, ill be hitting some Illinois public land spots this spring to find spots for next year. Michigan non resident tags are fairly cheap too if you want to change scenery, i got some good spots for ya.
Bow hunting is just code for freezing your butt off in your tree stand. Great video as always, Tex. :)
We do what we can, when we can. Stay wiley!
When you do break the curse it will be epic brother.
Better Luck Next Year Tex! Hopefully you will get a face covering by then...
TGO we will not leave you

PS you rode a good ride 👊👊
Don’t give up! I’m sure you have heard just about every suggestion but hear me out. I get that you’ve got private land. But what about trying the public property that’s in Illinois? From what I can tell from all your videos your busting the deer out before you get a chance and there’s nothing you can do about it. So go scout out the perfect ambush on public land. It’s not hard to get on deer quick on public. I’m just trying to help. You will get a deer one day.
