That's so true. I've been a celibate for over a year now and I have this guy chasing me. He just came out of a relationship and he's telling me he loves me and he wants a relationship with me. He's even spending money one me. This whole thing is crazy. I told my intentions from the beginning though that I don't want a relationship neither is he my type guy due to the fact that I am a Christian and he is not a Christian. I believe he will leave me alone soon because I don't wish to entertain him anymore.

Rosie I don't agree with you. Today's dating doesn't aim at giving each other some time. People right off want to jump on sex to explore sexual compatibility. You know what's more important and useful? Communication, talking about marriage, kids, work after getting together. But everyone wants to sleep by the 2nd date. People do not even wait to figure the other person out , do not even care about how they deal with things, etc. Right off to sex. A relationship can work without sexual compatibility, but not without communication and feeling each other's point of view. Communication can ensure sexual compatibility, but not vice versa. What's more worse is that people who only want sex come at you claiming they want to date you. Dating is only a phase to get to know your partner, if you can't prioritise something like communication over sex, then you aren't serious about each other, let alone start a relationship

If he's too out of breath for a day date (walk, hike etc) he may not be healthy enough for sex. THAT'S A GREAT POINT! 👍

I'm 50, and the guy I'm seeing is 61. I talk about sex (not often) with him from time to time, but only when it's a conversation in which I'm trying to learn about our sexual compatibility. However, I have also explained, "I'm not having sex unless I'm in a relationship." We go out during the day and at night. I went to his house once. He comes over to my house quite a bit and even comes in my bedroom on occasion. Still, we don't have sex, and we met over two months ago. I have never kicked him out for trying to push the envelope; I just said, "No. I'm not ready for that." My take on that is that either he continues to see me, or he doesn't. It's his choice. I'm not having sex with him until I'm ready. I do other things to show I like him. When we go out, I sometimes leave a tip for our server. I've cooked dinner for him and invited him over. I kiss him and hug him. I call and text. I'm up front and honest about any concern I have. I'm just not ready for sex. At one point, he was giving me gifts every time he came around, and I asked him to stop. I told him it's too much and feels like he's trying to buy me, and I'm not for sale. If we eventually like each other enough to get into a relationship, that's fine. If not, that's fine too, but I'm not rushing, although I'm not taking forever.

Let's be honest about the culture in which we live! The women have been conditioned to believe that a mans interest isn't real or genuine unless it's sexual! If he isn't expressing his interest in you sexually - he's just not into you like that, or he's seeing you only platonically or whatever. With that in mind, you cannot blame women for thinking that sexual flirtation is just that, an expression of interest. What you're suggesting is that any and all overt expressions of sexual interest are met with firm boundaries. I'm not against this, I personally am a non conformist in many ways, however, I don't think one video on the topic is going to set in motion a revolution on how women behave, unfortunately. Men have no inclination to commit since they're already getting their needs met without any responsibility, investment or commitment, and women are foolishly believing that a hookup will lead to a relationship. It's literally not even safe to kiss someone without sending the wrong signals cos that's how toxic & warped the culture is. Youre right though, the responsibility lay fully on the shoulders of women to fix it all.!

💯 agree Stephan. I stopped talking to men many years ago but the men I came in contact with came to my gate to speak to me because that was the only way they could have contacted me. I'm not the kind of person who likes to go out and at the end of each conversation, sometimes talking to them for the first time I had to run into my house leaving that man standing outside as soon as I suspected he was walking towards me to hug and kiss me. Most men would push their luck as far as they could right from the start.

I recently dated a guy and the first that was really nice . He wanted to see me again and so did I. We planned another date but he canceled and said he was hit with a lot with family issues … couple family members got cancer, sister is about to loose his home and he may have to move back home to Maryland for awhile so when never reschedule a date. He said he wasn’t in a position for a relationship so I asked if he wanted to be friends so he said “yes I can use a friend “ and asked if we could still hang out from time to time so I said yes. After that I notice he we planned another outing together and he ditch me again. I’m trying to figure out what’s going on and if still wanted to be friends then he tells me the chemistry isn’t a fit and he explained that it was personality differences like sense of humor, difference in opinions and the fact he smoked weed( he never mentioned anything about him smoking , we never spoke about that. He ditched me twice and changed his story. I was super confused . I couldn’t tell if he only wanted sex. It never came up on my end or his so what was really going on here??

Keep applying that behaviour. Invest in yourself even if you find the right man. If you date or marry a man, keep eating healthy, doing exercise and learning new things. Please I need a little guidance. I have been dating this guy for two years now and during the first six months into the relationship,he started asking for sex but I denied him. Here is a new one. I bet no one has heard of this before. When a player gets injured, you are the 1st person he texts. I know 2 of them personally, they both got hurt 2 weeks between each other, they k ow each other and i know they talk. They are just looking for a reason to make you go over to them. 😂 Then they will initiate sx, when you are there even though they are injured. They act tough and try to convince you to sleep with them. I never went to his house by the way, i was at work and told him to go to the hospital.
