I can see WF raising the number of minimum monthly transactions to qualify for rent points from 5 to 10 or 20 using the losses reported here as a justification

That would basically force cardholders to use it as their primary card which considering that the other point categories are few and not really every day spending that would probably make people drop the card

If Wells Fargo thought this article was a good idea they are sorely mistaken, if they’re planning on ending the bilt card then I’m just going to stop using mine

I have the bilt card. It’s not my main card but there is a lot of value. Especially with that Hyatt transfer ability. I’m surprised there isn’t an annual fee.

This question is for anyone who wants to be helpful. Is it smart for me to close a card or two after I pay them down ? Might I add that these 2 cards were my very second credit cards, and I can't afford to keep up with all the debt I accumulated.

Part of Wells Fargo's unhappiness is that fewer people than they expected are carrying balances.

Omg I made a mistake listening to people saying this was the number one car in 2023. I applied and I got a great credit line but it seems it’s an unstable car. I wasted an unnecessary ding on my credit report.

Boy, I glad I DID’NT apply for this card. making five transactions a month is a bit too much for me. it takes away from other cards that rewards me more and better rewards. 🤔

Rent and 2 uses on the 1st only leaves 2 more needed and 6%on dining and 2% catchall is as good as it gets in my wallet

That 5 transactions could be a dollar each. I just reload my Starbucks gift card a few times on the 1st of the month for 6x points
