This movie is so underrated. Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, and Ian McKellen give it their all, I love the creativity of how the rat's version of London is built, how clever the Toad's plan is, and the very British humor. Definitely one of Aardman's funniest films.

rats actually used to be kinda common show pets! there’s a national fancy rat society bc ppl kept bringing pet rats to mice shows. they’re also pretty easy to train and are exceptionally clean. they’re probably next to cats and mice for me for fave pets

This film is one of my favorites! My family used to move a lot and I would watch it every time we traveled!!! I can't remember if I ended up watching this on Patroen a while back or not, haha.

Something about Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslet work so well off of each other! They really sell the characters’ chemistry; it’s adorable. ❤ I would have loved to see Roddy and Rita’s continuing adventures and romance of the boat life. 🥰

Well it's about time you reacted to this. I was obsessed with this movie when it came out and sadly nobody in my grade really talked about it with me. I remembered my moms ordering the McDonalds figures from eBay and those were the good ol days. I never understood the X-men references until I got older.

IM OBSESSED WITH THIS MOVIE TOO (I even want the dvd despite not having a DVD player) such a shame this movie never got a sequel and Dreamworks & Aardman stopped collaborating

Very incredible DreamWorks movie.

This is one of my favorite movies to watch when im bored. Brings back a lot of childhood memories and seeing the extras in the DVD. There was a section you could press where they showed you how to sculpt a slug using clay. Glad you decided to watch it 🎉

I first watched this a year ago. I mean, I probably seen it way back, but had absolutely NO recollection whatsoever haha. But, my “first time” was GREAT! Ended up rewatching a bunch of times 😂

Good movie. I like the idea that Roddy gets flushed down his own toilet, and must find his way home with the help of Rita.

I love this movie. My step bro and I used to play the ps2 game for it too A thought occurred to me…Rita should have left the cable with Roddy. Doubt they’d all go up top to get it. She can find another belt

I'm very fond of this movie; I love the Spike & Whitey pairing, and the joyous overacting of the Toad. Just FYI: I have had rats, guinea pigs and rabbits as pets, and they will regulate their own food intake. You leave their food bowls in their enclosure 24/7, and they usually will not over-indulge.

I was never a fan of how the movie basically wasn't considering Roddy's human family as his "real" family. Like why did he have to make one up?
