Flushed away is a cinematic masterpiece
_"HUZZAH! A MAN OF QUALITY!"_ That's the Aardman's way of saying _"I see, you're a man of culture as well."_
Fun fact. The voice actor of the "greasy" rat, the one who acts tough, is Andy serkis, the one who did ceasar in planet of the apes

Fun fact, it was the british who came up with the term Soccer. It just stuck with americans once they decided to go back to football. A lotta things brits make fun of americans for, theyre the ones that started it
@AverageAwesomeDude

Yeah I dunno they still ended up naming a game u play pretty much 90% with ur hands and something that’s definitely not ball shaped, football. Kinda hard to blame the brits for that

I'm from the US and this film is hella underrated, it's so good. I wish they had made more in this animation style.
Yes, this is Aardman, the company that did Wallace and Gromit, and it's not claymation for two major reasons. 1. They were having trouble working the clay models with the water in the scenes, because they're clay obvo. 2. Their studio caught fire and burned down midway through production, destroying most of their sets and models. They wouldn't have been able to make more in time for release, and with the difficulties they were already having, figured animation in their claymation style would be easier.

they had no problem mixing claymation and water with that pirates movie with hugh grant
Movie suggestions: The Boxtrolls. It’s stop motion animated. It’s about an orphan human boy who was raised by trolls who disguise themselves as boxes. The boxtrolls are underrated technological geniuses who are ostracized by society. The boy believes he is one of the boxtrolls until he meets a girl who introduces him back to society.

This movie is such a gem and i feel like not a lot of people talk about it. Its one of those movies i watched a child and forgot about but once i found it again i realized it still holds up and now its a movie i rewatch or just have on in the background.

American here. I was such a fan of Wallace and Grommet and Shaun the sheep that when this came out I was so excited to see it. I laughed my ass off. This movie is one of my favorites. It still makes me chuckle.
“Oiiiiiii Lon don” has honestly become apart of my vocabulary I don’t know why I find it so funny😂
The Slugs are the real main characters
Aardman's first CGI animated movie and final movie done with DreamWorks
i find this to be one of the funnest of facts: roddy the rodent is apparently inspired by Matt Healy of the 1975, apparently his godparent wrote this movie and was inspired by him😂

BAD??? MOTHERFUCKING DREAMWORKS ARE SCRATCHING THEIR HEADS WITH NEW IDEAS AND DECIDE TO RUIN GOOD FRANCHISE. KUNG FU PANDA 4 MEGAMIND 2 TROLLS 3
As a mad introverted person, living completely on my own in the middle of nowhere is the biggest dream lol. Being alone, in complete silence, it's just heaven. No noise, no distractions, just bliss. I can do the things I like uninterrupted. Every holiday I just go somewhere where I can be all by myself for three weeks and I cry every time when I have to return to the city. Some people do be build like this, but it'S rare. If I didn't find my partner I would have joined a convent that has silence vows.
Le Frog is voiced by Jean Reno, an actual Fenchman. He has been in films like "Nikita", "Mission Impossible" and "Leon the Professional."
Gandalf as the Toad was such a good cast.
This was one of my favourite childhood movies! Glad you enjoyed it :)
the fact we get at least one vector “oh yeaaa 😏” because of despicable me is so great
Aadman originally intended for this to be claymation, but then they realised there was a little too much water in the plot for it to work, so they animated it in cg but with the software they usually use to polish the claymation shots/to add cg extra that look like claymation models in their previous film, so that the wallace and gromit look could be kept as much as possible
i used to think living alone would be cooler than living with your family as well. id give anything to be able to just say hi to my mom and brothers again anytime i wanted to. appreciate what you have its always easy to imagine things might be better its harder to appreciate what you have.

As a french ... Yeah we also rail on the english. It's all fun
I honestly love Jean Reno's Le Frog character lol
This is the first movie I remember seeing in theatres!
This is an absolute classic! Superb comedy and great characters. I'm glad you enjoyed it seb
The reason why this movie is so funny is because the writers were Dick Clement and Ian Le Frenais, the same writers who gave us ‘Porridge’.
As an Australian i actually find it really good and funny and i love it
Lets go, One of my favorite childhood movies ever
Such a nostalgic movie for me
19:17 They're making a sequel to that in the winter on BBC.
(19:16) As an early Christmas present, I'm here to tell you that Wallace and Gromit will return this year, along with 'that little penguin'!!!

1:23 he IS WOLVERINE 😂
It's just so evident that they had a blast making it! The concept is utter silliness but it works because it's just freaking FUN!
My main gripe with this movie was how they basically treated Roddy's human family as if they're not his REAL family. Why did he need to make up one? He's lonely and needs to be with other rats was the idea. And he ditched them at the end without giving them another thought. This movie could've been so much more interesting if they went that route.

About watching this movie and not being from the UK. This movie came at a time Brazilian dub used to make crazy localizations when dubbing movies, so a lot of dialogues were changed to things that make sense for Brazilians.

Dreamworks: Aardman got us 1 Oscar we cam get more without them. Now: Our last oscar nomination was Puss in Boots 2, and everyone hates Kung Fu Panda 4 and Megamind 2. Nick Park: Sure, I haven't won an oscar since 2005, but I still have 4 oscars
