RECIPE fluffy croissants.
200 ml warm milk.
200 ml of warm water.
10 grams of dry yeast.
25 grams of sugar.
Mix well.
Cover the bowl with cling film.
Leave the bowl in a warm place for 15 minutes.
Add 1 chicken egg and 1 egg white.
Sift 660 g flour.
1 teaspoon of salt (6 g).
Knead the dough with a spatula.
Sprinkle the table with flour.
Put the dough on the table.
Knead the dough with your hands.
Lubricate the table with vegetable oil.
Knead the dough with your hands.
Form a ball from the dough.
Put the dough in a bowl.
Cover the dough with cling film.
Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
The dough rose well.
Put the dough on the table.
Divide the dough into 12 pieces.
Form a ball from each piece of dough.
Sprinkle the table with flour.
Roll out a ball of dough with a rolling pin.
Repeat after me.
Do the same with the rest of the test.
Dust the plate with flour.
Put the dough on a plate.
Grease the dough with soft butter.
In total you need 100 g of butter.
Do the same with the rest of the test.
Cover the dough with cling film.
Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle the table with flour.
Put the dough on the table.
Press the dough with your hands.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
Divide the dough into 12 parts with a knife.
Roll each piece of dough into a roll.
Repeat after me.
This is the easiest way to prepare croissants.
Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cover the croissants with a kitchen towel.
Let the croissants rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Brush the croissants with a mixture of egg yolk and 1 tablespoon milk.
Bake the croissants in an oven preheated to 180°C for 25 minutes.
Croissants are ready.

    I’m from Michigan, USA. To those who asked for the type of flour to use, I used all purpose flour. I used a digital scale that can measure in grams for the sugar, yeast, and flour measurements. My measuring cup has metric and English. I also tweaked the recipe with 50g sugar instead of 25g added to the milk/water/yeast, 150g salted butter instead of 100g softened plus 1.5 tablespoons sugar and mixed well (1.5 sticks of salted butter approximately). When I rolled out my butter dough I did it gently so not to press the layers too tight, cut the quarters into 4 slices each making a total of 16 smaller croissants instead of 12 and baked at 350F for 30-35 minutes until golden depending on the number of trays you have in your oven with some space between each croissant on the tray to bake evenly so I used two cookie sheet trays and lined with parchment paper. Before turning off the oven once golden, I also brushed some remaining butter over each croissant. The first time I followed the exact recipe and found the croissants to be more bread like and lacking tastes. This is definitely not low fat so enjoy in moderation for those who needs to be ❤healthy as a special treat ONLY. Otherwise I find the video to be much more friendly for non baker like me than some of the American videos with too much talking and confusions when layering by folding the dough. Good Luck!

    I made these exactly as you did. There were okay, but quite heavy. My family tried them, However, no WOW reactions. I will try less flour & maybe a french recipe & compare. I enjoyed making them though.

    To je jednostavno napisano i da mi se sviđa postupak pravljenja. Jedino si trebam uzeti vremena za praviti to prije nego doručkujemo.Bolje nego smrznute peći. Budem sutra probala. Hvala. Tko ima bolje ideje neka ih napiše.

    Thanks so much for this video. I've been arguing, daily, with my granddaughter regarding making homemade puff pastry for croissants. I told her that well known bakers took years to make that pastry for croissants and I was not financially capable to go through bags of flour and butter till she got the results she wanted. I saw your video and know that, ability wise, she could manage that dough. I watched her make bread and she has it down. I even had her take store bought dough and divide it, and roll it like croissants but wasn't willing to let her tackle the dreaded puff pastry. I'm so glad I just happened to watch your croissant video and have decided to let my dear granddaughter watch it and then move on from there. Thank you so much for sharing.
