I hooked the biggest Jack Crevalle I had ever caught in 2 foot of water in Perdido Bay. I had no idea what I got into. I had only seen them out in the canal and pass. It felt like forever to get him in.

Wow … 10 pound test ….. absolutely amazing Catch …. And may I say you are a true Gentleman! ….. we don’t need to keep all the big ones … Let them Live ….. I only keep the ones I’m gonna eat …… as you do 👍👍🏆🇺🇸

I liked the "pet" joke you made about the drum, but it had me thinking, you should try tagging some fish you catch by your property and see how many of the same fish frequently visit.

We have that liter problem bad here in Louisiana. So bad that they've actually closed public fishing areas just to clean it. Aggravates the stew out of me that people can't take their own trash with them.

Nice video! We've a guy in the UK with a great fishing channel, "The Fish Locker" - he does boat and shore (well worth a look, catching a huge Thresher). He has a "Take 5" policy, meaning that he'll always take five bits of plastic rubbish whenever he finds some on the beach or rocks.

Man y’all’s property looks like a flounder haven certain times of the year. Another great video bro. I’ve kept a couple of those big black drum that were gill hooked and not gonna make it and they were not bad at all. One had a few worms in the very end of the tail but other than that all good. I did my best to release all those older bigger drum but they were not gonna make it. I tried for hours on the one and it just wasn’t happening. Figured I better let that be known before the crap started coming at me.

My brother introduced me to your youtube channel last weekend in Venice La while we were fishing. Im become hooked on your channel. Love all your techniques.

I live in NH and we have floating docks you can pull onto shore during storms not sure if that would work for you made from used plastic drums I know its ( hillbilly ) but it works 🙂

Loved this video so much. You need to buy four plastic 55 gallon jugs and build a little deck. Just saying.

A set of 2 foot wide stairs would make life so much easier on those big guys. I wonder what that would cost.

Haha, I grew up through high school (10-13 years ago) right down the street from here and it was a go-to spot. My brother caught his biggest pinfish in here 11 years ago.

Mr. Franklin, you put the old Shaw Grigsby on that black drum. I didnt think you were gonna rip his lips quite that hard with that kahle hook. on there, but it worked huh ???

Hey Steve I been going to ft Morgan for the last couple of years kayak fishing from long Island ny don't know the waters so if ya ever need a fishing partner hit me up. I'm in ALABAMA late april early may. Didn't get to fish this year got to ft Morgan after a 23hr drive and had the flu when I got there. So maybe next year
