I Spent a Month's KZread Budget on this 👀 | Blackwing Zero Gap 2.0 Adjustable Bench
#blackwing #repfitness #homegym #garagegym
Black wing:
We combined the best features from our top benches to create the ultimate, high-quality, adjustable, flat-incline-decline bench, the BlackWing Adjustable Bench. This heavy-duty bench includes our redesigned, patented ZeroGap feature that is easier than ever to use. Slide the seat forward and backward to eliminate the gap between the seat and back pad in all positions. A closed ladder system along the back pad allows for 12 easy and secure angle adjustments, ranging from -8 to 85 degrees. This bench is also compatible with the Leg Roller Attachment, so you can secure your legs for additional exercises. The adjustable seat pad, with six angles, uses a new, patent-pending design that combines the ease of a ladder design with the security of a pop-pin when moving the seat up. Pick between standard-width pads or 14” wide pads for more shoulder support. Both pads are made from our new, extra grippy, dense CleanGrip material.
The BlackWing is compliant with IPF competition height standards and is built for great leg drive for all lifters. The heavy-duty bench is made with 11-gauge steel, can handle 1,000lbs, and features improved front and rear feet for increased stability. Grooved, rubber feet help keep the bench in place, while protecting the floor. The BlackWing is topped off with high-end finishes, such as a cut-out REP logo on the ladder, stainless-steel finished handles, and a laser-cut mountain logo on the front foot. When you are done with your workout, the space-saving design allows the bench to be stored in an upright position, taking up only 3.1SQFT of space, featuring an integrated, metal storage stand with a protective, plastic liner. A horizontal, knurled, stainless-steel handle makes the bench still very maneuverable at 131lbs. The BlackWing was designed in Denver, CO, and is protected by one or more issued and/or pending patents.

I like Rep benches they made solid benches and have a solid track record over the last 5 years or so and have continued to bring updates and improvements over previous versions. I like the idea of this bench but with me already having the rogue AB 3 I don’t need or have room for another one currently. If I was building a new home gym or upgrading equipment I would certainly consider this one. A lot of bang for the buck!

@@NoFate247 I went with the red uprights and matte black cross members and red bench. Also picked up the lat/low row attachment, their cable handle package since it looked like the ones that came with the lat attachment were crap, the knee roller attachment, and dip bar attachment. Got 10% off everything. Then used my rewards points for $100 off of their cambered bar. I also recently ordered the Kensui Swissies. Not sure if you’ve heard of them but they’re really great and I use them with every workout.

Looks like you might be the first to have gotten a review out. I'm surprised they didn't make any changes to their foot catch. I'm sure it gets the job done, but Rogue's variant seems nicer, beefier etc. Rogue's rollers appear to be at least 5" diameter based upon my measurements. REP's site says their rollers are 4". I wonder if Rogue's foot catch would work with REP's bench and I wonder if someone could even buy one assuming they were interested. I'm curious to try REP's new pads. I'll probably have to buy one for the FB-5000 I just picked up whenever they become available. As far as I can tell, home gyms are like a drug addiction without the drugs. @@NoFate247 I have the original zero gap. I love weighted decline sit ups. I usually don't do decline bench on mine bc of the extra set up time, and I have to flip the bench around to do it. The handle is poorly positioned making it harder to move. I'll prob buy the blackwing. Hoping for a July 4th sale with rep, then ill buy it.
