yeah local pickup is a huge factor for anyone within a drive of the major manufactuers

I got it for my vegas condo a few months ago. I put it together but haven’t had a chance to actually use it. Seems pretty solid and got it mainly because it seemed more stable than the rattle-prone AB-5200. If I had the option of the new rep benches at the time I might have leaned towards the blackwing but I’m not convinced they fixed the back pad wobble issue. In the rep AB-5200 2.0 video, when the guy shakes the back pad to show how it’s sturdier now, it noticeably wobbles lol.

Love this review. Would love to see you do more outside of REP and Titan like GetRxD and Fringe Sport. You keeping this one until the new REP benches come out?

I want to do more companies but it isn't always easy and honestly some stuff has been reviewed so many times it wouldn't really add anything. Keeping as many benches as I can until the space runs out 😂

You CAN push more with a wider bench. Since mine is made from wood and I wanted a decline, I just have a nest for different length 4x4 posts that I change out for different declines. Pop in a metal eye bolt to take a cotter pin on the side and bam, locked in post... ish.. ...mine has no padding though...

@@NoFate247 Best part about not having a ton of money to drop into it is, the weights stay low. So, I'm living in the high-volume/low-intensity world right now. Greg Doucette would be so disappointed I can only go longer than last time.

I am under the understanding that they are both similar and both fit each other's benches

The FID2.0 looks great. I still think the AB5200 is still king of the adjustable benches. I think the FID2.0 has a lot of potential to knock the king out, but it needs to do the small thinks right. The FID2.0 looks very bulky and does not look as cleanly made.

Now that you've had the 5200 2.0 for a while, how do you compare that bench to this one?

5200 2.0 is better. GetRxd has the nordic curl and decline situp ability which for some isn't important and other's it's vital. But honestly the 5200 is just better in looks and performance. This is one of those times that newer is better.
