Cs2 is way to cartoonish for these kinds of cities to happen

At exactly 2:02 there is going to be a white car in between the apartment compexes who drives through a grass patch in the middle of the road. So you could fix that with traffic manager :)

I need to brush up on my grass detailing those dry grass verges add so much realism

I'm always pleased when I can build a city that isn't just a bunch of streets and blocks in one giant square. One beautiful city I built had two large suburban areas in a a valley across a river from where the city was. I'm also pleased the citizens were using the transports, like the train and metros. Last thing I remember setting down was an airport. Never knew what became of that game save.

What do you mean by choke? Low FPS? That's normal in the game. My old computer, a Core I7 4790K and a GTX 750, had no problems running the game, even with many hiøundreds of mods and assets. 24GB of ram, helped a lot. It only ran at 15-25 FPS, but that doesn't matter a lot,, in a game like C:S.

Hello Infra. Love your videos! Do you use a pagefile apart from your ram for so many assets? I don't have my pagefile manually set, and let Windows handle it. I have 32gb of ram like you, but with less than a thousand assets I'm already hitting orange and red levels on my ram and page file usage according to the loading screen mod. Any help would be appreciated. Keep up with the great content man! Derek.

Also, I can't wait for the Coniferia region to finally get an airport. Maybe an international airport for Port Douglas? It would be awesome to add one whenever you see fit. :)

Upgrade your GPU, I moved to a 3090 from a 1650. 4GB dedicated to 24GB and the Ram usage dropped significantly. It will fill up the GPU ram with as much as possible before moving to the main system.

Cool. I miss Pine Harbour.

This is special! Never seen anything in CS quite this good. If you wouldn't mind, just how long does it take to load this city into CS.

InterCity train, tram and bus network have decent usage. Many cims also live in urbanized areas where they can walk to work.

Nice! I wonder what your computer spec is? Presumably you are using ultimate level of detail or similar? I have 8gb ram, i5-11400H, yet when I go too mod heavy it can crash my machine (I do often have other stuff going on though, like auto GPT!)

8 gigs would be unplayable on a map like this. I know from experience. My old PC died on me, a couple of months ago. It had 24 GB of ram. I didn't have the money, for both a 12 core CPU, and ram, so I started out with a 8 GB stick. I couldn't load my old games. The game would hang forever, or crash. A month later, I bought 64 GB of DDR5 ram, and I could now load my old games. Cities: Skylines easily ate 34 GB, after loading the bigger maps I had. Having enough ram in this game, is more important, than anything, if you build big. I can say that for sure, as my old CPU was a I7 4790K, 4 core CPU, that was from 2014.

I truly want to know, if professional playing C:S is an financial option. Is it worth it? I mean, of course you could use your free-time to get that much into detail, but I personally can't afford to spend that much time without a return on investment. While Cities Skylines does not have such a rich community like FIFA or Fortnite, I highly doubt that it is profitable to play it that intensively and professionally.
