I Ran a Marathon in the World's Fastest Shoes!

In this video, I run in the 128th anniversary of the Boston Marathon. This is my second time running in this race, and today, I will be wearing one of the world's fastest shoes. I have been dealing with a hamstring injury over the past five weeks, so I haven't been able to run more than 6 miles.

I ran Vienna City yesterday and couldn`t even train running over the past 6 weeks. I was at 3:15 course for the first 20 K but after it, Adductorestrain, Achilles and Calve Cramps prevented me almost from finishing. Finished with 3:38, but it was a shitshow. Can barely walk today, don´t know how you managed to run London 6 days after this... crazy..

What was your training and fueling like? Fueling especially maybe? I'm not saying everyone can expect to feel great after every output of race effort, but if you feel bad physically it may be that there is room to try some different fueling strategies to not push your body over the edge?

AP3's are great, but the short laces are goofy. They were my first marathon shoe, now going with AF3 for my 2nd, even though they seem to be loading one Achilles more (especially at sprinting paces). I know he's just doing endorsements, but I personally feel that Saucony has the game crushed (only tried the Endorphin Pro 4, but it's the perfect balance of speed and comfort). 🤷‍♂️
