I ran fast starting out and was wondering why I sound like a pig with no oxygen. Running slower and keeping better pace and technique has changed it for me. My breathing was so surreal and I managed to work up to the pace previously but now with better breathing control and endurance. Thanks for the tips nerds.

I run 800m myself. I’m 13 and my strategy most of the time is for the first 300m try to stay with the leading pack, then for the next 300m find a groove, and then the last 200m just find and extra gear and gang it as fast as you can to the end. My PB at 13 yrs old is 2:18

This is just my opinion and I hope that people can understand that as a human and not from the perspective of a fan. The lines that Kendrick directed to women specifically made me feel seen in a whole other way. Although I'm a young lady, I very quickly learned my value and to not short change myself as a black woman. I haven't liked Drake for a few years after so many public instances of the things he is affiliated with when it comes to young women. And that goes for many artists who's morals and behaviours I just can't stand by ESPECIALLY as it pertains to women. Some things just make me sick and I can't ignore them no matter how hard i may try. When I tell people that in my opinion he is an Incel that got money which is an extremely dangerous thing that could happen for women, I'm told that I'm just hating and it's not that deep. But it's true. As you all mentioned, we cannot ignore how long it took for these investigations to take place on Diddy, it shouldn't have taken that long for Bill Cosby to face consequences, R. Kelly, Epstein, etc etc. There's a pattern there and it is absolutely sick that power and money could brush things under the rug until there's too many victims to ignore or brands remove themselves to save face as soon as they possibly can. I'm not saying that Drake has gone as far as having sexual relations with any underaged children, but I am saying that what we DO know from public accounts was more than enough for me to be angry and triggered by yet another person with money being able to get away with their sick and dangerous desires. So Kendrick's disgust was almost refreshing because you don't see it as often. You don't see public accountability being taken amongst men to face themselves and get their act together. To go to God. To seek therapy. To prioritise their kids and be a father to the ones they allegely try not to claim. To learn from their own father's damage. To clean up the circle they keep and not let any and everyone in your space expecially near their children. To take pride in your culture/ethnicity and represent it unapologetically. Ironically Kendrick is being a better friend and mentor to Drake within this rap beef in ways that no one around him could ever be. It's relieving to witness and I could only pray that Kendrick's songs within this isn't just boiled down to him coming after Drake in a beef. I want that so many of us in the black community can do what's necessary to work on ourselves to strengthen who we are. We're too beautiful, intelligent, creative, powerful and influential to become versions of ourselves that we shouldn't be proud of.
