@@KassPaAttHava hoka has a very low heel drop compared to a lot of other running shoes. Having your Achilles tendon under that much compression and that little help might cause Achilles tendonapathy which could side line you for close to a year. I wouldn’t do it, but I’m not an expert. Google it and ask some experts

Running is a sport with so many avenues, in your case a history of high level competition and when that gets taken away its hard, the fact you have managed to claim something you sought after in a record, is truly inspiring

I was there on the day supporting other KZreadrs I know and cycled around the course on my mtb. I heard about the “guy running in Crocs” and I’m so glad you made this video, it’s so well produced and addictive, watched the whole thing. I have recently ran my first marathon and had ran it with a gopro, for you to be entertaining the audience the whole time whilst running in crocs is unbelievable and I couldn't even do it with proper shoes. That was awesome mate.. I've done a few marathons and still trying to get under 3 hours and everyone of them has been destroyed with a painful experience in that last 10k. Hoping I can make it this year. Can't imagine attempting a marathon at any pace in a pair of Crocs though, well done mate!
