Dear Laine, Have you had your thyroid checked? What about anemia? Fibromyalgia? For sure Major depression can cause low energy, increased sleep, & very low moods. Yep. All of these contribute to feeling mentally & physically exhausted. That’s me.

Every non-sleeper knows the time your sleeper spouse goes to bed is your nice quality "me" time. A non-sleeper who tries to guilt trip a sleeper into staying awake is clearly off their rocker.

Rolling on the floor laughing. Can relate the the swallowing joke. Our family members have a thing where we drink too fast and it goes down the wrong way, and it looks like we are drowning- but the rest of just ignore them. . Hope they aren’t ever choking for real because their last minutes would be looking at the back of our heads.

To me that’s not a factor. Each have their time and place, depending on mood, topic and so forth. Besides, strong language can be beautiful, creative and precise, but like anything else, you need to know how/when to use it. I mean, it’s about expression after all. Just because it’s “R rated”, it’s not inherently and always bad.

The arbitrary morality of most is what makes cursing work in a lot of jokes. What a narrow minded way to view comedy. Couldn't imagine thinking that a certian word considered dirty by some poeple would effect their ability to appreciate humor.

Jim - I’ve listened to and followed your comedy for decades. The older I get, the more I relate to your material! 😆 Your sets about Canadian provinces and American fast food joints have never been topped. We love and appreciate you, friend. 🍻 ❤️

100% can relate to the sleep. My ex took it way too personally. She would prefer it if I fell asleep watching TV in a cuddle. My trouble was that I couldn't sleep with that kind of noise, so I was always sleep deprived.

@hopewing5583 I'm so sorry about your niece. Many blessings her way. Almost eight years since Lyme Disease took over me, and I now live a full life - even though I am not yet cured. There is hope for a good life, even with the disease.

It's like Bruce Springsteen sang in his Dancing in the Dark song Go to bed feelin' the same way. I ain't nothin' but tired. Man, I'm just tired. I can definitely relate to these lyrics. I'm always feeling tired because my spouse loves to talk for hours about the same stuff.

Jim always makes me laugh, he is the only comedian that always makes me laugh. I guess that makes Jim my favourite comedian! The problem is, I always forget his name. Larry David, Woody Allen; these names stick in my head. Two 2-syllable words that flow together, maybe that is it.

Mr Jim Gaffigan, Thank you for your humor. Finally saw you live on The Fixxer Upper Tour in North Charleston. That was a great year for me, and I think your show helped me get started. It was a swift pale footed kick to the arse… of which I could use daily. Oh, and Billy Jo El… so true. I love all the various United Kingdom and Irish regional dialects. Wish I was asleep 100% of the time and never had to be awake.

I get the tired. Main symptom of myasthenia gravis for me. Have to shower day before going somewhere or could fall asleep after shower, even so may start to drive and debate if should go, get parked and too tired to go in,unable to hold head up or make seat recline.Fall so often dress to fall... won't stain, will not embarrass me laying on ground. The right med helps but still have energy crisis that makes TX power outage look amateur on days...just up from unplanned 4 hr nap and thinking of going back to bed but is only 1815. Wanted to do stand up but can't stand and talk, hell, some days can't project my voice at all

Jim, I have sleep apnea, asthma and GERD. Got some strong antidepressants to get me going in the morning. So, after my coffee and bagel, I take just a 2 hour nap now.

I'm always tired too😂 it started when I was a single parent in my 30s and now I'm a single nana to a rambunctious little boy😂😂

Even if you have Lyme they just say "well you have Lyme" and send you on your way. Then you tell people and other doctors that you have Lyme and they scoff. I my personal experience, at least.

@@L.Spencer they gave me medicine a few years ago for bronchitis, but since then my symptoms continued and worsen. It's been about 5 yrs. I constantly feel like I have the flu but I just deal with it because I have no choice. When I get sick, it borders on needing hospitalization. I'm always tired but can't sleep. One thing that has worked for my sleep is trazadone. Other than that I'm just fending for myself and it has been miserable.
