I CAN'T GET ENOUGH! Ex Metal Elitist Reacts to Blackbriar "Weakness and Lust"

Музыка

• Blackbriar - Weakness ...
At one point of my musical journey, I would of been considered an Elitist. I just liked what I liked. But as I've gotten older I've realized there's alot of great music out there, and I want to find it! Thank You for bearing with me on the beginning stages of this channel. Feel free to request any song.

As a Dutchie I'm proud of all good music like Blackbriar and other great female vocalist from the Netherlands. But you can resist sirens? Try this one: Epica - sirens (of blood and water) 😊

I love your reactions, especially with my absolute favourite band of all time. Blackbriar are unique in many ways, but always outstandingly good! I think my fav song so far is Lilith Be gone (not quite sure, because picking the best out of 30+ masterpieces is not so easy...) Lilith Be gone is not a music video, just an official audio with lyrics, but one can notice it has almost a half million views (in 2 years) with only music and lyrics...

The creeps a bit but i really liked it. She has a severe look about he as she's staring into the camera that gives me the good chills, but also unsettling. Of course, beautiful voice.. the symphonic was sublime, some of the chord changes were also unexpected and kept it fresh yet still with the disturbed vibe. I enjoyed it a lot. TY Cosmic for sharing this with us ❤ and ✌️

Well, I will give this another shot and hope YT doesn't delete my comment. From Blackbriar. 'Weakness and Lust' is inspired by the infamous and horrifying book; 'Malleus Maleficarum' the best-known treatise on witchcraft, written in 1486 by Heinrich Kramer. These women, or "witches" were blamed for all misfortune in the world and even for the sins of others. Therefore these lyrics turned out quite sarcastic, I am confessing to all the accusations, "you can blame it all on me". 🖤 Love, Zora Best place to get Blackbriar CDs is their website. I included a link to their music page in my last attempt which is probably what got it deleted. They just recently signed with Nuclear Blast so all their previous work (1 album, 3 EPs, 6 singles) were independently produced and released by the band. On the music tab they have all the CD's except 3 older singles. It takes awhile to get them since they are shipping from Europe and the shipping is a little pricey but I have never had an issue ordering from them.

Thanx so much for all your BB reactions! This song has such powerful lyrics, in that Zora is sarcastic when she refers to all the sins that are blamed on her/women/witches of old... BB stuff is always deeeeeeep and intelligent! Worth it to do a tiny bit of background check beforehand. Please please do Selkie animated official next? My favorites apart from W&L are Fairy Of The Bog official video and Lilith Be Gone lyric video. Can't wait for the next one! Best wishes from Namibia 🇳🇦 ❤️ 👏

Zora has a unique voice, took me a minute to get used to it, but she is very good. Haven't heard all their stuff yet. Some that I have heard I can suggest to you are: Until Eternity, Snow White and Rose Red (feat. Ulli Perhonen), and My Soul's Demise. I collect CD's too. Some are just impossible to find, a few I have given up on and purchased the download. Surprisingly including some newer ones. Not sure if The Warning even made any.

I'm pretty sure my sorry arse is notched into the headboard of more than one siren's kelp-bed. (not sure I can mix any more metaphors... that's about all I got tonight). With some singers, I can't quite figure out why I get goosebumps. With Zora, it is painfully obvious. She has such a unique tamber (timbre?) to her voice. It cuts like glass through turgid tympanic membranes. ... and just like a siren, I am drawn to it. It's not the most beautiful. But she her voice is the definition of 'alluring'. ... I gotta go back and see... did you check out her 'Mary on a Cross' duet with Charlotte Wessels (sp?) You really must. Girls just wanna have fun. Oh, dont worry about the CDs I'll rummage for an addy over at Patreon, then send a pkg.

This is not good music. It is weird and not something people will want to hear. The talent is there but the writing is not good. They need to study the masters and go from there.
