At one point of my musical journey, I would of been considered an Elitist. I just liked what I liked. But as I've gotten older I've realized there's alot of great music out there, and I want to find it! Thank You for bearing with me on the beginning stages of this channel. Feel free to request any song.

You really wanna see just how insane Zora’s vocals can get? Listen to “Deadly Diminuendo”. It’s one of the most haunting, breathtaking vocal performances I’ve EVER heard.
Hearing this song for the first time watching your reaction. I'm only vaguely familiar with Blackbriar but the more I hear from them, the more I appreciate them.

Right! This is a special band
Yes this is very good.. she is something very special this young lady almost etheral both in voice and in appearance.
Ah Cicada is such a beautiful song and released on the perfect day, they released it on the summer solstice. I was eagerly awaiting the music video that day, I had not heard the song yet and it is magical. I can't wait for the rest of the album, it is going to be so beautiful. Anyways you can't get wrong with choosing the next song to react to because they're all so good, for very difficult vocals by Zora check out the Seance. It is a song about feeling ignored framed as a song about ghosts.

Beautiful Energy 🎆👏👏👏 BRAVO 🌹🌹
I cannot wait for the new album to drop, Zora has a fantastic emotive voice, the guitars are done so well but just underpin and drive the song forwards, Loving them, Bog love Bro
Great Reaction. Tried to copy Zora's description of the meaning of this song from Blackbriar 's community tab. Failed so here is a summary. In folklore it is said that when you hear bluebells ring it means your death is near. The fairys are gathering to herald your death. Here Zora character is asking her Muse to turn her into a cicada so that she can finish singing his song. When the Muses first gave the gift of song to men they were so enraptured by their voices thar they stopped eating and only sang until they died. The Muses turned these men into cicadas who can sing for days without sustenance. This is one of the things I love about Blackbriar. How their songs are steeped in culture, folklore, and storytelling. I always learn something new. Next Weakness and Lust.

Thank you, that is an amazing story.
Zora is brilliant in the subtle ways she uses her voice. It's so Uniquely captivating. There is a video short an isolated vocal clip Zora is measured at Six notes in half a second. From the Seance.

Wow how great another reaction
In 10000 years, if something intelligent still lives on planet Earth and if Internet survived, it will be amazing for those creatures to see how genious has been Blackbriar in music history and thanks to your video, they will even be able to see how it touched us. Because, every Thorn (ie Blackbriar's fans) can recognize on your face the emotions they have to deal with when each new Blackbriar's song is dropped! big big 👍! 🙏 PS: after watching this one, I subscribed 😅

Grear to see you continuing with Blackbriar. I'm here for it. Try Selkie next for something slightly different.

Yes, you can't really find a bad song to pick with Blackbriar, but the _Selkie_ video is certainly unique!

My favorite of blackbriar is selkie. It's about time someone mentioned selkies. Def. Check out that tune, as well as her and Charlotte wessels cover of Mary on a cross

Great reaction. Did comment this morning, but is gone. Is this because of the link i put in the comment? Great band from my country, the Netherlands. Go to see them live in september with “ad infinitum”. Another great band to react to. Thanks for this reaction.

John I've had some issues with comments on here. I see you! KZread has deleted comments.
I'm just beginning to experience this group and I will certainly be in for the journey. I love Zora's voice, and it's perfect for this kind of music. And, I wouldn't be me if I didn't say "Ohhhhh, horses." Friesians, I believe.

Yes, I read an answer from Zora in the comments confirming they have worked with Friesians, like in their music video for Until Eternity.
This one hit a bit different, more of the fairy lore type, brighter it seems. Still a lovely song. Interesting, hopefully we'll see more. Txs Cosmic, ❤ & ✌️

Oh we gonna see more!
I really like the interesting timbre of Zora's voice and the bi-like for the revival of the already "unfashionable" genre of gothic metal, but ... so far I can't classify this band as one of those bands that I really can like and were able to impress, because: firstly, they are not very catchy songs (I tried to listen to this group to the maximum, because they interested me, but I was able to add only one song to my playlist and two more were remembered with a stretch, but not directly “wow”), and secondly, live an interesting spectacle they don't represent themselves. I liked their acoustic session, but it's not the same as a full live concert. Apparently in contrast to some of the other bands that are really good live and put on a good show, it's hard for me to rate BBriar live. But I will definitely follow BBriar work, because I like Zora's voice and the general atmosphere and style of their music, I hope they will make more interesting hits and become better on the live stage.

Blackbriar are fantastic. Do you know League of Distortion from Germany? Not Gothic, but more metal, and also female fronted. I discovered them on a festival some months ago and loved them. :D
